Saw this come across the feed and the name sounded familiar. That's because he was one of the two Punters that were taken in Round 4 (very high for a Punter) of 2022, when we selected Matt Araiza in Round 6.

He recieved a Special Teams Player of the Week in his Rookie season, as well as a Special Teams Player of the Week, and Special Teams Player of the Month in his second year. He was released a couple months back by Tampa Bay in favor of someone else.

Could be an interesting camp competition leg and/or possible replacement for Sam Martin next season.

The year Camarda came out was an insanely good year for punters.

Jordan Stout- Ravens

Jake Camarda- Bucs Cut/ Bills

Matt Araiza- Bills Cut/ Chiefs

Trenton Gill- Bears/Broncos/ Bucs Cut all 3

Ryan Stonehouse- Titans

Ryan Wright- Vikings

Daniel Whelan- Packers

The 2022 class has 5 current punters in the NFL, Camarda who will get a chance to win the Bills job next year, and another guy drafted in the 7th who’s bounced around. That’s unheard of for one specialist draft.

This doesn’t even include the fact that Cade York, Brandon Aubrey and Cameron Dicker are still on teams as kickers and Docker and Aubrey are arguably the two top kickers in the NFL.

It might honestly be the best specialist draft of all time

How did someone get drafted higher than the punt God?
