NewEra Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I believe this is the key matchup in the game. Bonitto, a young, hungry and explosive pass rusher that is looking for his moment to show the world who he is vs our venerable one, Mr Dawkins. He’s a stud and probably my favorite non Bill in the NFL atm. He has enough speed to stick with Josh and make him throw the ball earlier than he’d like to. Josh thrives on extending the play longer than most QBs ever. He’ll probably need to do that on Sunday. The only way I see them winning is by causing a ruckus and getting to Josh. Making him uncomfortable early and often. Bonitto is a guy with the ability to force Josh into making bad decisions. Time for The Schnowwwwwman to make sure that doesn’t happen. ⛄️ we need it 7 5 1 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I'm going to guess their pass rush is a non-factor and Allen carves them up like a Thanksgiving Turkey. 3 1 3 Quote
Buffalo716 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 He's a stud My buddy who's the Oklahoma booster has loved him for years and seen him develop 2 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) Pick 64 in the draft … this is the sort of guy we really need to find this draft with one of our first three picks … Joe Marino, whom I like a lot was recently talking about Javon Solomon taking over from Von next year 🤔 Edited January 7 by Aussie Joe 6 2 Quote
JohnBonhamRocks Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Start by running at him. He’s 6’3”, 240. Schnowman is 6’5”, 320. 8 6 2 Quote

Maybe, unlike Kelly in the Giants SB……just keep on running. I know nothing about their run D, but that is the kind of game I love. Just like the Cowboys a few years ago! They can’t stop it, so we keep doing it! 5 2 Quote
The Wiz Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Was listening to Orlovsky on OBL and apparently they use him as the spy in passing downs which would make sense because he seems to be more built like an LB than a DE. I think Allen could outrun him but don't think he could shove him off if he gets hands on him. 1 1 Quote

Yeah- the game will be won up front- whomever controls the LoS wins imo. Denver hasn’t run the ball all that often this season but I suspect they’ll be trying to run more on Sunday. Hopefully we don’t let them show any semblance of a run game early on and our DL can pin their ears back. 1 Quote

Might not have been a lot of “wow Allen hurdled someone” moments, but watching us run it down their throats was equally fun. 3 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I would consider myself an nfl fan. I have never heard of nick Bonnito. Must mean he’s not a household name yet 1 1 1 4 Quote

Teams take Parsons out of the game by running at him. I do believe Bonitto is much better against the run than Parsons but yeah, you test him early so he can't run up field without repercussions. I'd be surprised if we don't establish that early. Some tackle pulls to him/ away from him, some 2 TE to his side, etc etc. Edited January 7 by warrior9 2 1 Quote

But i live under a rock mostly. Only watch or care about Bills. Of course I read PFT blurbs . And you folks here. Never heard of him. 240 is a mismatch for a 320 +LT , if he can set up well. Dawkins is a smart guy. Thanks , I will watch the matchup. YattaOkasan Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) 13.5 sacks! Bonitto is electric and fun to watch. Thankfully schnowman kept Josh clean last year. Bonitto and Allen had no sacks (I can’t recall how much pressure they got). Just need to play turnover free and we should be good Edited January 7 by YattaOkasan 1 1 Quote

Control of the line of scrimmage as you said will dictate the game outcome, and yes, they will absolutely try to run on our defense, every team we play is going to try to do so, we must not let them have success in that part of the game. I do think the defense will hold up for the most part, and our offense will put a hurt on them early and often. GO BILLS!!! 3 Quote
