He noticeably stayed down for a second or 2 wincing in pain. In my opinion claiming there's a personal matter being dealt with is the Bills way of giving him rest/time to recover from smashing his noggin and getting concussed without the risk of the league not passing him on a physical to play Sunday. Watch that catch again and explain to me how he didn't ring his bell badly............ With that said go bills and let's March to the Superbowl, the winter soldier will take no prisoners!!! Guess you missed it: 2 Quote

Plus, if he had a head injury and they're not reporting it, that wouldn't be ideal. My Mother slipped on ice and broke her tailbone in the 70s. She said it was excruciating pain. Theres no comfortable way to sleep, or sit, just torture for weeks 1 Quote
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I think he went into blue tent for head injury and was cleared so the league at least was happy at the time. 4 Quote

zow2 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 The league takes the injury report stuff seriously. I mean even Jalen Hurts is still in concussion protocol, for 16 days and counting! So if there is any hint that Cooper has a head injury, or any injury that the Bills are "hiding", that would be surprising. 2 Quote

With that being said, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, why can’t we just take them at their word? and wait for practice report to come out 1 Quote

FWIW, Cooper's own explanation was that he hurt his tailbone. And if he needed time to rest and recover, the optimal place would be One Bills Drive. There would be no need to make any announcement about a "personal matter"; just put him on the injury report and let him stay in Buffalo to rehab as other players with injuries have done this year. 1 Quote

CSBill Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I’m speculating he fell hard on that play and that something is seriously wrong with someone he cares deeply about, and the details are none of our darn business! 2 1 Quote
