I hope whatever family issue he’s having are solved quickly, Allen needs him.

Probably can get away with not having him this week but definitely need him to make a deep run.

Questionable passion for the game, aloof, traded twice in his prime, Cleveland rumors of quitting on the team, etc.

That’s the narrative I’ve read.

I.e., we have no actual idea. For all we know, his mom died three days ago. Wait until you actually know something before casting aspersions.

I didn’t cast anything. I said if he misses the game, it would fit the narrative.

Whatever the issue was its still going on into Monday. Has anybody heard anything further on the situation?

Monday is the day to "get right" from the game, watch film and "do the corrections".

Tuesday is a day off

Wednesday they start to install the game plan

If Cooper isn't back on Wednesday then start to worry.

Seems like this Fantasy Source thing just puffing up worry.

I’m definitely not trying to be insensitive but we need all hands on deck here. I’m tired of every single week having an important guy or two out. The season is very short. Go win a Super Bowl FFS. We need to be all in the next month then go anywhere you want

What this thread needs is an example of when somebody was dealing with something at home and they went to work anyway. Really, its what Amari needs.

We don’t know that. It’s a personal issue. His coupons could be expiring at Bojangles in Tuscaloosa.

Life advice:

When you find yourself starting a sentence with "I'm not trying to be _________ but" ask your self one thing:

---> Do I actually want to be (insensitive, rude, hurt your feelings, a jerk - whatever word you were gonna use)?

If yes, proceed

If no, shut up

I don't think McDermott gave him leave to go tour Egypt or close on a house or something.  There are things that are bigger than football and can't be scheduled to occur in the off season.

I won't  worry until McD uses the word "concerned". Then and only then will we know something really is up.

He used the word "hopeful".  What should we think about that?

I listened to the press conference with McDermott.  Kind of sounded confident that Cooper would be back but we’ll see.
