This is great news if Amari is back, but my question is... Is he mentally ready to play in a very meaningful game. Being physically present is very different than being fully ready to play!

nah

it's just a game

He's back.  It was never a question in my mind.

It's not just a game, it's a playoff game - and this is his job, his career, his trying to be part of the team and the community.

I understand your point. However sometimes people do better when they get back to work and are around friends and colleagues.  It gives them a respite at least for a gew hours from whatever family issue they may be dealing with. It's why guys can play a football game a few days after a death in the family, ie Brett Favre

While there is some truth to this, I hope you do realize that is very personal and different for every individual on Earth.  People deal with loss, tragedy, sickness, injuries, etc all very differently.  You can't say well Brett did it (or Josh when his Grandma passed) and so everyone else should act accordingly as well.  People lose site that these are human beings with their own individual human emotions and nuances...these aren't video game characters sent here as slaves to the fans to abandon all humanity in their lives for the sake of the fans desire to see other human beings compete in a game.

Coop is obviously back, so whatever was going on with him was weighed by him on whether or not he should play and he has made the personal decision to play.  But that decision should have no bearing on the next players situation when it inevitably arises for some player on some team in any sport played in the world.

I doubt he'd be at practice and in meetings preparing to play if he wasn't ready.

This guy is a pro's pro.

If anything, he may be even more "dialed in." Surtain makes it more difficult, but let Denver pick who they want to contain.

Best of luck to Denver with that.

My thought would be a shorter passing game (keeping Surtain out) and relying on your TEs and RBs catching.

Not to be a jerk, but if any of us had a death in the family ( and may all of you be blessed to not have that happen this year, we get 3 days.

As another poster stated, it's not a normal job he has.  He got paid millions to do this job and we are now at the most vital part of the season.  I hope he makes it back.

No disrespect...but the amount of money a person makes at work should not ever dictate how they handle life outside of work.  Doesn't matter if he got paid $20 an hour or $20M a year to do his job...it's irrelevant in how he should handle personal and family emergencies, tragedy, etc.  The size of your pay check does not change your priorities or responsibilities at home.

That's what I expect with or without Cooper. Kincaid will have a feast of a day Sunday. Knox too. Cook and Ty Johnson. Those are the boys that are gonna destroy Denver! Josh sits by the 4th Q. Gonna be a beat down. GO BILLS!
