I was watching him and didn’t think he played that great.  He was ok at best, but they weren’t asking him to do a whole lot.    There were multiple times when Watt went right around him but Burrow was getting the ball out so fast it didn’t matter.  
 

That’s the thing about Burrow, he’s used to playing with bad offensive lines and has leaves to get the ball out on time and to the right receiver.

Cody is making a career.  Good for him.  Harrison Phillips has excelled since he left.  Good for him as well.  Sometimes all it takes is the right coach or system.

 

NFL stands for not for long.  Anyone who gets to play as long as they have deserve some kudos.

I'll be happy for him as well.  I have a friend who was an All-American as Tenn and briefly played in the NFL.  We have often talked about playing in the league, how hard it is to stay and how little you earn if you are on the margins and the havoc it can cause on your body.  I respect anyone who really makes a career of it (unless the play for the Fish or Jets.)

What did the bills get with the 5th round pick they got for him?   2023 fifth round pick was Justin Shorter but the pick was Washington’s.  Edit:  They traded down and got Shorter.
