Unfortunately, business will have me in San Fran this upcoming weekend for the wildcard round.  I will be landing in SFO at about 9:45 (so 15 minutes before gametime).  Any recommendations right near the airport to watch the game?  It doesn't have to be a Bills Bar, just somewhere that will broadcast the game.  I see there is a BJ's Brewhouse about 5 minutes away and a BWW about 13 minutes away.  I'm fine with either one of those, but wanted to see if there were any insider recommendations.  Thanks...Go Bills.

Landing 15 minutes before game time? If I were you, I’d watch it in an airport restaurant or bar.

Literally any sports bar or inside the airport which will likely have plenty of establishments there showing it?

Then again...at 10am, not sure how many would be open 😂

I'd go up to NorthStar Cafe. It's probably going to be about 25 minutes from the airport.

Thanks...hoping to have to go that far as I want to see as much of the game as possible.  That scenario would likely have me missing the entire 1Q.

Definitely thought of that, but have to go collect luggage, so would have to be "outside" of security area and I'm not sure what the options are at SFO.

The North Star is your best bet, although it will be crowded. I'm sure there are plenty of places to watch the game in South San Francisco.

Too bad that you're not flying into San Jose, otherwise you could join our group in Campbell.

Not sure how many times you have been to SFO but several nice hotels right near airport w/ bars. Doubletree is nice. Also close to a top Golf and Fiddler Green which both should be open. Go Bills.

If there's not an accident on the 101, that might take less time than going to North Star, having to deal with the lack of parking in SF, etc.

I'm going to be in my truck that day for a 12 hour drive, so i won't be able to catch the game.

Also, i let my Sirius/XM subscription lapse, so i didn't really plan that one out too well.

Good point. @Richmond_Bills, it would probably take you 45-50 minutes to get here, but you don't have to worry about parking prices or SF traffic. If you feel up to it.

It should be on a national radio network somewhere.

I chose to skip yesterday’s glorified preseason game on television and instead listened to the WGR radio broadcast on my laptop. It was great!  Reminded me of back in the old days hugging my little transistor radio listening to Van Miller from the Rockpile.

The only annoying thing was they kept playing the exact same commercials over and over and over again

Yep- if you can swing it timewise, run out and get a cab to Northstar. It'll be worth the extra travel.

Drive down to Carmel. They have a Bills Bar with cheerleader waitresses that do crossfit during the game between slinging drinks! It's called "Tally HO" diner.

Companies need to get with the program regarding the NFL playoffs. Two years ago, I was on a plane for work during the freaking AFC Championship game. Totally unacceptable!

Great Buffalo spot. Stop there in 09 for the browns MNF game.  Owner grilled Salehn's on the sidewalk and had Blue in bottles. You may miss part of the 1st, but this is the place.

You won't make it by car in 25. But if you take the BART into the city to Powell station. Then grab the Powell cable car to Green St. Walk a block east to the North Star.
