Whay is the point?

many fans live outside of WNY because careers and jobs took them away.

thst is why road games have many bills fans therr. Some travel from WNY, but many now live in a 4 hr radius of team / closest football team

  • Riverboat Ritchie changed the title to Regions and Characteristics of fans in region?

Some of us are 2nd generation Bills fans who never lived anywhere near Buffalo or Western New York, but inherited the fandom from parents who moved to other parts of the country. That would be me.

I knew a bunch of dudes in Hawaii that were Bills fans because the Bills were good in the 90s, and when you grow up out there you become a fan of a team with the biggest name Pacific Islander player in the NFL or the team that's best when you're 7-13 years old.

I partied with a Romania Bills fan at McFadden’s (RIP). He was hardcore.

Oh I love McFaddens when I was in NYC for work it was right across from the Crown Plaza near the UN, when I took my wife to NYC we left Grand Central and walked all the way down for a Bourbon (actually Jamey was 2 for 1)  or 3.

I remember it being like $20/$30 all you can drink drafts and eat chicken wings during the games. That’s amazing in Elma much less Manhattan. Can’t imagine what that place would be like for the Josh Allen playoff years.

I'm a 90's kid. Not that uncommon.
