The good thing is they'll be able to bring back the 9 OL they have on the roster as they're either under contract or ERFA's (Van Demark and Anderson).  But I think they'll give Kromer the freedom to start who he wants.

For sure. But I'd bet a dime to a dollar he wants the continuity too.

I don’t think Anderson will ever start here. I see him being stuck in the 6th man role like Ryan Bates was because of his versatility to play basically all line positions.

I also expect Buffalo to really not take an Offensive lineman this year. They return all 9 guys like another poster said and they have been developing Gouriage on the PS for a couple of years. There would have to be really good value sitting there on Day 3 for a selection

Possibly.  Dawkins and Brown are locked-in at LT and RT but I'd suspect he'd want his draft picks (Torrence, SVPG and Grable) to start ASAP.

Just curious what you guys think about Torrence now 2 years into his career?

I think you are doing well, keep working on it

Solid player and getting better. Very powerful in tight spaces in the run game. Still mastering his technique as a pass blocker. Incredible potential Still to be a all pro guard based on just his run blocking imo

what was every ones take on Grable yesterday?

he graded out at a 53.3 overall grade, very strong pass block grade 78.3, less so on running plays 44.5  still a bit undersized at 6-7 290, probably will have an offseason program to get bigger and stronger.

It is extremely difficult to get named to the Pro Bowl in Buffalo.  Case in point: This year the 3-14 Cleveland Browns had 3 pro bowlers this year compared to 13-4 Buffalo's 2 pro bowlers.  I think he's very good and probably still has some untapped upside.  If the current offensive line does not improve its pass blocking, Josh Allen is still getting sacked at a very low rate.

I agree. It is a lot of name recognition. But Bitonio probably will retire this year so that will open up a spot for some fresh faces.

Very replaceable at this point, but maybe he makes strides.   I wonder if there will be some competition for the interior positions next summer.   Bills don't have a lot of depth at some positions but OL is one they do.   After watching Grable move again yesterday it might be hard to justify him being on the bench.

I was hoping for ProBowl season from him this year but he really struggled for about 5 of the first 6 games.

He has been much better lately especially in pass blocking.

Hope he has a dominant playoff run!

People still care about the Pro Bowl? He man handled chris jones

I would say mediocre but slowly improving as a pass blocker, near elite as a run blocker.

He's a Beast in the making. New Center calling protections. and He did come into to camp fat. Slow start.

Love to keep both he and Brown on the right side for years. This Line is really coming together.

 Keep in mind Badol

Sum of it's parts is and O line. This equals pretty darned good

David Edwards was "his" draft pick too if we are talking Kromer. He is very much his guy. I don't see a route for SVPG to start next year.

Yeah, the LG spot is really the only one that might see a change in the next couple of seasons. But Edwards is under contract through 2025, so it's his spot to lose. We'd probably have to see an unfortunate injury in order for any of the youngsters to see any real starting time. After 2025 tho, I could see them moving on from Edwards.

Nobody new is starting on that line till the earliest 2026. McGovern will be reupped if he wants to be here and maybe Dawkins slides inside if either Grable or RVD can be the full time LT

I think "very replaceable" is a bit harsh. He is their weakest starter on offense and he still has too many inconsistencies in his game for me, but he isn't Cody Ford "replace him with a traffic cone" type bad. This season was odd. Slow start, then turned it round and had a real solid middle of the year and then he, more than anyone, seemed to half ass it once we were playing dead rubber games. I dunno. Motivation is something I question with him. Does he really have that dog in him?

As I said the other day in the SVPG conversation I feel very strongly the Bills bring the same 5 back up front next year. But if Grable or Anderson or someone really makes a push his is the most vulnerable spot. I expect him to start in 2025 though. He is serviceable.

I think all of Grable, VanDemark, SVPG and Anderson could also be serviceable in 2025.   I'm definitely not implying that he's Cody Ford but the standard on the OL is entirely different now.

True but Edwards will be 28 next March, signed just through 2025 and will save almost $2M if cut.

I think they could too. But they will have to be better than that to convince the Bills to sacrifice the continuity. One of them would have to be bashing the door down I think.
