He's been absolutely killing the Steelers down the stretch with his rookie foolishness.

Tomlin has got to be tearing his hairs out.

Agree. He made multiple mistakes in the fourth quarter. Not just the last drive.

Pickens did him no favors though.

And it wasn't just yesterday either.

It's been going on for a month.

Teams have adjusted to Steelers Russel Wilson.

It’s over for them.

I said that during the game. He never throws over the middle. They were able to hide that but it’s catching up to them. Also, him and Pickens are off and the rest of that offense is meh.

And I don’t care if it helps us. I hate injuries.  Honestly, they should run 2 TEs, run heavy, and sprinkle in RPOs/ play actions. They will be a really hard out if that play that way and don’t get too cute which they have done in past playoffs.

Now the question is...is the Steelers secondary healthy enough that they can trust it to play man coverage to take Henry out of the mix?

Last game 3/4 of the secondary was out and it showed.

Last game vs the Ravens? Or their game a couple days ago? Didn't realize they were that banged up in the secondary. At least they'll have Pickens this time vs Baltimore.

Pickens and Friermuth.  Dropped a perfect pass that would have helped extend the drive.

Is Fields injured? I couldn’t believe that they didn’t use him at least a few times when the threat of the QB running was obvious.

Fields is a glorified Kordell Stewart as a QB. He might want to look into a position change or live with the fact he'll be a forever backup.

If you are Steelers, what do you do at QB next year?  I’m thinking they should keep Fields and draft a guy at some point. No point in tying up money in Wilson. Use it for a WR and trade Pickens

If Pickens could have caught a cold on Saturday the Steelers win that game. Wilson isn't a world beater by any means, but hes playing well enough to win games. His last drive of the game last week was horrendous however

My hope for the Steelers is really not based on a lot other than, this is a 3rd divisional game against teams that hate each other... strange things happen when you put those together

I think there should be hope. Steelers won the first match up, and the second match up was a one score game in the 4th quarter before the Ravens pulled away due to a pick 6 (closer than the score indicates).

Actually the Ravens had crazy turnover luck that probably won't be replicated. The Ravens fumbled 3 times and recovered all of them (and they weren't just bad handoffs where somebody landed on them, they were bouncing around). And Russell Wilson fumbled at the 5 yard line for a go ahead TD in the second quarter, and the Ravens got that pick 6.

So there was a 14 point swing due to turnovers (and probably more with the Ravens recovering all their fumbles). This will likely be a one score slugfest.

this does make the Steelers game more interesting.  I’m guessing a low scoring game.

What happened to Flowers anyway?

got his leg rolled up on a little

Kordell Stewart went to 2 AFC championships and took Elway to the final minutes. He didn't play great in the two AFC championships but kordell Stewart was really really good and almost broke through.

He was never truly appreciated for his time and he won a lot of games. Two years of 13 wins if I'm not mistaken.

I always felt bad for him because back then there was still the veneer of questions about black QBs and he was trying to break out of the shadow of the great Bradshaw.

There was some ugly rumors spread about kordell that I wont repeat here that was messed up.

He was one of my favorite qbs and should have been drafted much higher based on how great he was at Colorado.

Kordell Stewart, SLASH!!!!

I can still see in my mind the hailmary Kordell made playing for Colorado against Michigan. So I like Kordell and know the rumor you speak of but he was limited as a passer if being honest. Much like Fields and to a certain degree Lamar and I don't think it's necessarily their faults but perhaps the coaching they got as they developed. As truth be told most athletes who get to the NFL are because they are just that great athletes and at most levels of sport if you're superior you can get by just by athleticism and some highschool and even college coaches to just rely on that and don't really teach kids how to read or diagnose plays etc. Yet eventually especially at QB you need to be more than just that to excel in the NFL. Lamar may have done it this season based on his stats being at his best yet until I see it in the playoffs then I have doubts.  I don't want to make a race issue because it's not as Doug Flutie had limitations too due to his height. Heck we all sawJosh Allen had to learn to adjust his footwork to become the complete QB we see today. I mean tbh I never expected Josh to be a top 3 QB I thought the best we'd see is top 10-15 based on his first two seasons.

The 2001 Steelers were stacked. Defense was incredible. They really should've won the super bowl

The Steelers were stacked on both sides of the ball for Kordell Stewart's entire career.

The reason they were never able to win a Super Bowl was Kordell Stewart.

After they got rid of him, they then went on to win two Super Bowls over the next 6 years.

He was better than ppl remember him. He didn't play well in those AFC championship games. But he has to get credit for the winning too.

I disagree; the Steelers won in spite of him, not because of him.

Most years he threw more picks than TD's; he had a career TD:Int that was actually below 1:1

He rarely completed 60% of his passes over a season and finished his career with a 55% completion rate.

He only once managed to throw 20 TDs in a season and his second highest total was a paltry 14 TD passes.

And all this despite a defense that repeatedly gave  him the ball in great position while playing behind outstanding OLines and throwing to guys like Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress, Charles Johnson, etc.

Even an average NFL QB would have won multiple SB's with that team during that stretch.

He was a great athlete but an atrocious QB.

I'm bias I loved kordell. One of my all time favorite college QBs
