Still amazed he played the starters at all let alone as long as he did. They had that division won after beating the Steelers. Such a silly choice by John.

Ravens without that dude are a whole different ball game. I think he’s a great player, not elite, but definitely a game changer for that offense if the opposing defense is loading up to stop the run.

The rest of the guys have been hit or miss with the exception of Andrews.

This could bode well for Pittsburgh.

I'm really hoping the Steelers can gameplan to make it work to their advantage, but i'm not holding my breath.........it's the Steelers, after all

Maybe the Steelers offense can generate a few scoring drives (they look cooked on offense)...without Flowers, that does hinder the Ravens a tad (although with the threat of Henry, it seems no matter who they target in the passing game, they are always wide, wide open). Like others, not holding my breath that the Steelers can win, but would be nice to have the Ravens eliminated if we take care of our business with Denver.

That’s what the Ravens get for not officially wrapping up their division sooner.  We’re at least in the best physical shape heading into the playoffs as I ever remember.

The only way Pittsburgh is if Russell reverts back to the way he was in November/early December. I doubt he will but who knows maybe Lamar takes a few steps down because no Flowers and of course his typical playoff meltdowns.

Teams have adjusted to Steelers Russel Wilson.

It’s over for them.

It's not just teams adjusting to Wilson.

Wilson's decision making as a professional QB is just not good.

Example: at the end of the game with :46 seconds left and a FG needed to win:

1st and 10 at the Pitt 42, Wilson scrambled instead of throwing the ball away.  Worse, he didn't get OOB on that scramble.  It cost the Steelers 19 seconds off the clock.  Then the next play, he took a sack costing them 5 yards and their final time out.

Two things every QB gets drilled on in end of game clock management:
the few yards you get from a run play are not worth the time (unless you're in FG range and working for ball placement)

and

Don't Take A Sack.

I don't think the Steelers as a team believe that Russ Wilson can QB them to wins any more, and when a team doesn't believe that, it affects how everyone performs.

That said, Pickens is an ass.

Pittsburgh as a whole have been relatively bad these last 4 games. Offense isn’t far from where it was at they just aren’t making those splash plays they were a few times a game.

Their defense was a concern but didn’t seem to do too bad a job against Cinci and were a couple of dropped passes away from winning that game. Freirmuth needs to do better, he had some massive misses. Pickens too but we’ve seen that with him many times before.

Do you think the 8.5 fav for Baltimore is justified and do they cover?

Sure makes it interesting for Saturday night. Go Steelers!!!!!!

Now the question is...is the Steelers secondary healthy enough that they can trust it to play man coverage to take Henry out of the mix?

Last game 3/4 of the secondary was out and it showed.

pittz should alternate fields and rus to confuse the ravens, and whatever they do just show a totally different look on D to make playoff lamar come out.

im way to cocky right now, i think we can beat denver, baltimore, and kc in kc.  it would be better if we didnt have to tho

My hope for the Steelers is really not based on a lot other than, this is a 3rd divisional game against teams that hate each other... strange things happen when you put those together

Steelers secondary was really banged up the second meeting...3/4 of them were out.  If they are missing Flowers and they have a healthy secondary, they can likely shut down Henry running and force Lamar into a dropback game against them.

He's been absolutely killing the Steelers down the stretch with his rookie foolishness.

Tomlin has got to be tearing his hairs out.

I think what you said, but we really need to hope for one of those cold weather games where hands get cold and the ball bounces around... TJ gonna need to get to Lamar, Steelers gonna need to force turnovers and not turn it over... but crazy stuff happens in the ANorth when these guys get together... I still think the Ravens are a clear favorite... but I see a path for the Steelers....  Cam Heyward, TJ Watt and Minkah F gonna need to make a difference all game...

Should we operate Doc? I can use the extra cash ...

Don't bother.  You'd just misplace your wallet with the cash in it..
