947 Posted Monday at 04:51 PM Posted Monday at 04:51 PM The chance that Brady would take the Jets job if offered are very low, there's little chance for success there (for any coach) & he'd likely be there 2 years tops before being viewed as another failed hotshot coordinator & end up having to be an OC again. If/when Brady leaves, it'll be for a good opportunity with either a QB in place or the draft picks to get one. I think the Saints job is slightly better than the Jets, but they have no QB or means to get one either. Â Once Ben Johnson is a HC somewhere next year, Brady will be the top offensive candidate on the board & have a much better chance at the right opportunity. Â I hope Brady declines an interview for a Jets job he doesn't want, & just focuses on this week's game. Quote

They booked Vance Joseph and Brian Flores I believe. 30 minutes ago, gobills404 said: Same reason good players sign with bad teams. Millions of dollars. Yeah but he’d be a dead man walking the moment he gets in the door. Not sure if you want to start your head coaching career that way. Edited Monday at 04:55 PM by Roundybout Quote

Now if he could move up in the draft to get a franchise QB they need is another question. 1 Quote

The interviews are valuable no matter what. 1 Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted Monday at 05:17 PM Posted Monday at 05:17 PM I think Brady should wait. He was probably an OC too early and had to take a step back. I think becoming a HC at this juncture is probably too early. He should take the interviews, but he should pull a Ben Johnson and be selective and patient. Quote

A basic hiring freeze through the day after the Super Bowl would be noteworthy.  both gives successful coaches a better chance to get jobs and avoids distractions 2 Quote
