I doubt Brady gets a job this year. There are only 5 openings at the moment and 2 are going to Vrabel and Johnson.

With Allen as your QB though it's only a matter of time. We probably have one more year then he's gone.

Take the interview for practice and to drive the price up on the Saints.

But dang, I'm reminded that we again have to deal with this crap while trying to make a playoff run.

The league needs to fix this and allow coordinators to stay focused until the season is over.

That leaves 3 without many other candidates out there, and Brady has strong ties to the Saints.

Totally agree - Should be a league-wide hold on all head coaching interviews until after the Super Bowl.  Wouldn't teams want to see how everyone does throughout the playoffs anyway?

I get the idea that they want to find their guy ASAP so they can get started on other things. But yeah, not like college where the coach is going to bounce during the middle of the playoffs. They have to wait to get him into the building anyways.

Totally agreed there should be a hiring freeze until after the Super Bowl.

I would take the interview for experience even if he has no intention of going there.  Experience for what is going to happen in situations where you WANT the job is invaluable and allows you to prepare better.

That leaves 3 openings though to be fair 😂 some of y’all might not like it but he seems to be top of the list once you subtract those two names.

They are interviewing the entire league and even going into NFL media to interview.

I never thought Jeff Saturday got a fair shake from Urko Irsay in Indy.  Second time's the charm? 🤔
