Think about it like this........KC completely blew its game against Denver, like didn't even show up. I understand the principle behind it as, if you single handedly had a chance to keep Cincy out of the post season, then you do what you have to do to make it happen.

 

No different for the Bills yesterday who already had the 2nd seed locked up, so why not rest your starters and let the Pats take the win.......also losing the #1 pick in the draft, so it's a win/win for everybody.........well, except NE.

Have people ever played football or any competitive sport? Pro athletes don’t take, especially football players. Why do they care about next year or a guy who might take their spot? It’s so stupid when fans get mad at players for winning “meaningless” games. It’s their job and they are going to try to win.

Players don't try to lose, but a coach can. Punting from the 35 and pulling Mitch for Mike White was a deliberate attempt to lose a game. The Chiefs didn't even play their primary backups. Everyone who was on the field was playing to win, but the coaching staff put them in a position to lose.

Than apparently they all had to stay in Denver because KC airport was closed.  Nothing worse than losing a road game and having to stay over.
