when would you start making reservations and looking for tickets?  Now, before playoffs start? Or after the Conference Championship?

As long as you make sure everything you reserved is refundable, no harm in booking early. Prices only go up the closer you get to an event.

I'd wait until they're at least 21 points up in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl. I like a sure thing

I think tickets would be pretty cheap by then.  But getting there from home will be the problem.

StubHub allows sales of sports and concerts up to 1 hour after the event has begun. I've used this to get fire sale prices for various things. $35 4th row seats to Fleetwood Mac but I missed the opening song.

already too late---minimum price of admission is $7000+.  plenty of cheap rooms available though if you want to just be "Super Bowl adjacent"...

That Sir is 1 HUGE reason why i will NEVER see a SB live in the flesh . Sorry i really love the Bills and have been a fan for a very long time but that will never happen unless of course it's gifted to me . I have a lot better ways of spending $7k just saying .

my current plan is to go party and watch my niece's husband play the WM Phoenix open and then watch the game in that big Bills bar in Scottsdale.   that is simply the current plan.

you can probably put this thread into the “what did you do to cause the bills to lose the Super Bowl?” Thread right now.

I was surprised how low the tickets prices are for the WC game vs. the Broncos….

But I’m poor so still over my budget 😜

wow you can get in for $140.  that's nuts.

And if the Bills make the SB, prices to the game probably would only go up.  This team would be a huge draw.

Trust me, I thought of that, and that's why I put "If" in the thread title.

Funny, I booked a hotel in downtown Buffalo 2 weeks ago (I live in Cali and want to watch this *potential* game among Bills fans)

I'm divided, go for what could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them live in a SB, or go to Buffalo for what could be a week-long party if they win.

I will consider it if the Bills make it. The thought of spending 7K minimum to watch them lose would be soul crushing though. I’m about 7 hours drive to New Orleans so at least I’d save on driving vs flights

the SB is its own huge draw--hence the minimum of $7000...

Yeah if you wait until really close you can sometimes get amazing deals. A friend and I went to one of our playoff games in KC and got tix like 10 minutes before start and they were great seats like 10 rows up close to the 40 yard for like $150 each.

Unfortunately that was the 13 seconds game though.

It's a little over 20 hour drive for me, depending on traffic and weather.  But flying would be more expensive.
