Chris Grier and Mike McDaniels will return to Dolphins next season, team announces

Great news! And they are stuck with Tua who has one healthy year since high school and who even when he is healthy isn't good enough to beat Allen.

 

Honestly, when are the Bills even going to be threatened again in the division?

 

2027 maybe at the earliest?

 

All 3 teams are essentially dumpster fires.

And reports are he took himself out of the game in the 4th and quit on the team

They went 9-3 down the stretch if my numbers are correct and started playing defense really well.  Another year in that defense is going to make them pretty tough next year.

 

they basically missed the playoffs because of Tua's injuries which should have been a point of emphasis for them in the offseason.  Not having a good backup like Joe flacco or someone who could win you 2 out of 4 games if tua was out was basically the gm letting the team down.

Yea just saw the video of that. He's pissed cause he's not the focal point of that offense anymore. That offense runs through Achane now.  If they trade him, they are going to eat 28 million dollars next year and 15 million in 2026. Not exactly ideal but the Bills did it for a second rounder.

6-3 I believe, they were 2-6 at one point.

yea- the tua problem is a big one. You can’t have a franchise qb that bakes in 3-4 losses due to injury. The salary cap and bfl parity don’t allow it. Especially when your division has a hall of famer at qb for your rival

I still think when healthy, Miami is a pretty solid 10-11 win team.

But... They got a fragile QB who can't stay healthy, and always seem to choke in big games.

The best and most predictable part is he hasnt bothered to consider he may be part of the problem.   He isnt a young player anymore.  He relies a ton on speed and maybe, just maybe he doesnt have the jets at full blast anymore.   Dolphins are going to need a really nice deal to eat 54 million over 2 years, especially when they are already 15 million over the cap for next year.

Ya they might be looking at like a stefon Diggs kind of situation where they trade him and eat a ton of cap. They are not in a good spot with that contract lol

Agree, the problem lies in the fact that’s all they are. The media and Dolphin fans want to treat them like real contenders. It puts unrealistic expectations on that team.
