Allen is going to need to have his best month of football this year. Offense needs to get off to quick starts and put the pressure on Nix to answer early. Defense going to need to limit TDs and force some turnovers. I think the winning formula for this Bills team is for the offense to score 30+ each game while the defense attempts to hold the opposing teams to under 30. If we can do that consistently like our chances to reach the Super Bowl and to me it is going to depend on how far Allen can take this team which won't be easy.

Codrington said yesterday after practice that his hammy tightened up on the very last punt return. Said "we'll see" about going Sunday.

Ah OK.  Thanks!

I mean, isn't that always true of the playoffs?

Pretty sure scoring more than 30 and holding to less than 30 works anytime. 🤣

I can't wait for Sunday! I think we will destroy Denver.

But...

I am a diehard Bills fan since the 80's and I know what can happen. Yesterday I was all "Denver dies" and today I'm remembering beating Miami two years ago on the last play of the game with a FG vs a backup QB in the playoffs. Ugh

The very best thing about living outside of Buffalo is the extra work it takes to listen to WGR.

It’s one of the few times in life that a barrier to entrance is a net positive.

At no point in my day am I ever tempted to switch on my AM radio to 550 because I’m way out of the area. If I am putting in the effort to use my phone instead of Sirius then I’m throwing on Nugs or Spotify.

It’s awesome!

Pretty tough to top the ALL TIME month he already had this season

Well some teams can win if the QB doesn't have their best games. I think that won't be true for this Bills team. If Allen has off game I think this team is in trouble.

Moreso saying if we get in a shoot out or if Allen has an off game team could get bounced. Like we saw against the Rams. Allen played great but the defense didn't and we lost when they couldn't get off the field on critical downs.

The teams I think could actually spring a true “upset” this weekend are the Packers and Steelers.  LA over the Vikings would not really be an upset as the Rams have played very well down the stretch.  Same with Chargers over Texans.  Bucs/Commandos is a toss-up, and the Bills should take care of business without too much difficulty.

The Ravens (and Lamar) have so much pressure on them this weekend, and the Packers are simply a lot better than I believe most people realize.

What pressure are the Ravens facing?  They're the 3 seed coming off an AFC Championship appearance.  Pittsburgh is playing like absolute garbage on offense.

I like the name with billieve and 420 linked together, whichever comes first.

Serious though, "the winning formula for this Bills team is for the offense to score 30+ each game while the defense attempts to hold the opposing teams to under 30" is hard to do. This is the playoff and we are playing teams with significant winning record. To expect we score 30+ point on all of them or holding them under 30 points on all of them is not realistic in my opinion. You have to win a game like 24-20, or 42-38.

The Bills played 5 playoff teams this season with a record of 2-3. It's not a bad record mind you. If you are a consistent team, you probably should be losing to playoff teams in the regular season, and the Bills did this year.

The scores are 10-35 Ravens, 20-23 Texans, 30-21 Chiefs, 42-44 Rams, 48-42 Lions. Pretty indicative of the ebbs and flows of game to game variations. I'm willing to bet for the Bills to play all 4 games in the playoffs, there will be a game they score significantly below 30 and still win.

If the Ravens lose this weekend to the Steelers in Baltimore, wildcard round of the playoffs, with Lamar being a potential MVP of the NFL winner, it will go down as one of the worst losses in NFL playoff history.  It will be utterly embarrassing for that franchise, much more so than if Buffalo were to lose to Denver on Sunday.  That would be awful as well but not nearly as bad on a national scale.

Agreed, but... ALL of the pressure in our game is on Buffalo. No one expected Denver to be here, and they are playing with house money.

Is it though?  In early 2021 a 13 - 3 Bills team with their newly elite QB but having very little playoff experience met a wildcard Indy team in Buffalo.  Now that was a game where Buffalo was under great pressure as they were expected to roll the Colts that day.

Flash forward to early in 2025 - the Bills are playoff experienced and battle tested.  I think they will come out in a very business like manner shrugging off any pressure while dispatching the Broncos by 10 - 14 points.  It will be close in the 1st half with the Bills pulling away in the 2nd half.

dear season ticket holders please stop selling your tickets!!! If you are a season ticket holder and sell tickets to a home playoff game well why are you a season ticket holder?

Sean McDermott is on with Sal and here is what he has to say about injuries.

Codrington is questionable with the hamstring.  Ingram is back with the team after having a new baby.

everyone else is good.

Yes, the pressure is 100% on Buffalo. I'm not talking at all how they come out or how the game is played, just that the pressure is on them to win, not Denver.

We are undefeated at home for a reason. The Mafia will be there, in post season form.

that extra flight was probably for the Bills fans that now live in Denver.
