JA17 not on the report.  Could this be the healthiest he has been going into the final games here?

It may well be.   Allen said last week he feels the best he's felt going into the playoffs.

 I hope that's a good omen.

All season, I just wanted to get to the playoffs relatively healthy.  Couldn't have asked for a better situation as we head into WC weekend.

I won't know what to do with myself after one. Sure the requisite drinking and shouting, breaking of furniture, animal sacrifice, and public nudity, but what then? WHAT THEN????

Fire extinguishers, stitches and legal advice....

That’s brutal-  I’m not the man you are- I’d call out 💯

The Sunday School class is 9:15 AM.  I don't mind doing it.  I'm also substituting for the pastor by preaching on Sunday.  I'll still be home for the game at 1 PM.  I don't mind.

Crazy on one bills live today broncos dude said the Broncos vaunted D has been the 2nd worst in the NFL in December.

That's what I found when I looked at their last 4 games before KC.  I posted these stats and I would be nervous if I was a Broncos fan:

I keep hearing about how great the Bronco's D is.  So I went back and looked at the Bronco's last 4 games against teams that were trying.  Sorry but you can't include the KC game.

These 4 games are a decent measuring stick as they're at the end of the season and Denver needed to win them in its quest for the wildcard.

Cleveland;  gave up 32 points and 552 yards

Indy;  gave up 13 points (should have been 20 as Taylor dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line with no Bronco player in sight) and 310 yards

Chargers;  gave up 34 points and 380 yards

Bengals;  gave up 30 points and 499 yards.

“Ok kids, we’re going to watch this football game and let’s see which team God likes best”.

Often in church, I sit on the opposite end of the row from a die hard Dolphins fan.  He's had a rough season.  I go easy on him.

Thankfully, unlike the regular season, I won't be rushing to get my son home by 1 because he's a madrachim and then has a mandatory class right after until 1 pm . . . Good luck!

Forgive my ignorance.  What is a "madrachim?"

I don’t think the Ravens will destroy them. It’s a division game and Pittsburgh has beat them like 10 out of the last 12 times. Will be the third time playing this year.

Pittsburgh didn’t have Pickens the last game they played and also were missing 3/4th’s of their secondary.

They will have all of those guys back for this game.

Also if you remember Russ had just ran for like 30 yards to the 2 yard line and fumbled the ball. If he doesn’t fumble that, Pittsburgh would have taken the lead. Russ also threw a horrible pick six later. So a 14 point swing because of that. It was 34-17 as the final score. The game was tied 17-17 with only 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Between all of that and Lamar’s struggles in the playoffs and struggles with Pittsburgh normally, on top of that now not having Flowers, I think it’s a closer game than people think. We will see.

I think Pittsburgh wins the game. They can hold Lamar in check and Boswell is the best kicker in the NFL right now. It should be a good AFC North clash.

According to current information, this scenario is describing a playoff matchup between the Denver Broncos, who led the league with over 60 sacks this season, and the Buffalo Bills, who allowed fewer than 15 sacks, marking the first time in NFL history such a contrast in sack statistics has occurred in a postseason game.

The Broncos had a franchise-record 63 sacks this season and the Bills allowed just 14 sacks. It's the first playoff matchup all time between a defense with 60+ sacks and an offense that allowed under 15 sacks.

The Broncos have 28 sacks in their last seven games.

If a muffed punt costs us the game this week we'll all look back and wonder why McDermott had Codrington out there to return a kick with two minutes left in a meaningless game.

During and after the game, it was said "no observed or reported injuries".

So none of us know for sure if the final punt return was where Codrington injured himself (though Bangedup Bills commented limping slightly afterwards)   He might have injured himself on one of his other 8 ST snaps or his 27 snaps as a CB and aggravated it there.  He might not have realized he was hurt vs just shaking off a hit until it started to stiffen up a couple days later

Don’t know if we’re even this healthy on the injury report back in Week 1.  Let’s hope this team has some juice to string together a few wins now!

Broncos got 5 of them vs. Kansas City in the final game.  (Poor Wentz)

Sooooooo Peyton Manning 13 years with the Colts, 1 Superbowl Win with 7 years of Dungy?  Then 1 Superbowl appearance with Caldwell....

are we dissing on Manning now?

No. Manning is clearly one of the best QB’s of all time. Dungy was lucky to have Manning. So was Caldwell. That’s my point. Dungy was a very good coach elevated by a great QB.

Edit: I don’t think Dungy is a HoF coach without Manning. Manning was great Dungy was very good. Both cannot be elevated to great given their lack of championships.

Manning and Dungy are a much less muddled example of Sean Payton and Drew Brees. The OP I quoted said Brees was a top 10’QB. I was adding on about Sean Payton.

Broncos have definitely had some huge sack games. 7 against the bengals. I think 6 against the Bucs.

It seems like the games where they didn’t get a lot of sacks, they struggled more.

if we don’t give up more than 1-2 sacks, it’s going to be tough for them to get us “off schedule.”

by comparison, they only sacked Lamar once, and the ravens beat them 41-10. Lamar 16/19 for 280 yards. Henry over

100’yards.

Burrow and Winston throw for a combined 900 yards against them. No reason Josh shouldn't be able to light them up.
