eball Posted Tuesday at 04:14 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:14 AM Denver is 1-7 against teams with a winning record (not counting their win vs KC backups). Just leaving that here for consideration. It’s Dolphin-like. 5 1 1 Quote
Harold Jackson Posted Tuesday at 04:33 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:33 AM The question is, is the league done rewarding Walmart with a playoffs appearance for the year. Or do they give them one more win 1 1 Quote

Umpire is from Eck's crew. That crew called 52 offensive holding penalties this year - 6th most of all crews. Vinovich's crew called 29 - the least number of offensive holding penalties. The deep wings are from the Clark, Wrolstad, and Hochuli crews. For Defensive Pass Interference, Wrolstad called 25, Clark called 21, and Hochuli called 16. All of these were fairly middle of the pack, good for 8th, 10th, and 12th place amongst all crews. For defensive holding, Wrolstad's crew called 17, Hochuli called 15, and Clark called only 8 - the least in the league. 3 2 Quote

We do have a punt returner McDermott trusts on the practice squad. But it was initially reported we got out of the game with no injuries, and McDermott didn't sound too concerned about Codrington's hammy today, so let's hope his treatments go well and let's see what Wednesday brings Quote

I hope they "let them play" but with all the man press Denver plays this probably helps them as they hold a ton. But Vinovich is typically pretty good. Quote

Would McD’s defense be the reason for losing? Not being snarky just throwing out a scenario. I never hold the Defense responsible if they hold the other team under 20 points. I never hold the Offense responsible if they score more than 30 points. 1 Quote
Mat68 Posted Tuesday at 01:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:46 PM Denver is a solid team. Not great but solid. I think Mcdermott confuses Nix early and results in some neg plays. Buffalo takes an early lead and doesn't look back. 31-17 Buffalo. Quote

It is similar to the Bills 1st playoff season with Allen. We did not have any noteworthy wins as we played a 4th place schedule...and in fact we probably lost 3 of the last four and then played a WC game at Houston. Allen and the offense jumped to a 16-pt lead but could not hold on as the Texans mounted a huge comeback to win it 22-19. The game will be close but the Bills will be able to pull out the win. 1 Quote

Scott7975 Posted Tuesday at 02:36 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:36 PM (edited) The media has been pumping Denver pretty hard. I feel like this is the same thing preseason where everyone said we would be like 3rd in the division to Miami and the Jets. Then the Bills made a statement. I feel like they are going to make a statement this week again. I think Denver has a good upcoming team. They are solid. Nix is decent. Coaching is good. I also feel its early and they aren't for this big moment yet. Edited Tuesday at 02:37 PM by Scott7975 Quote

Hardy I would not say McD trusts based on the trade for Codrington. Hyde was always THE returner that McD clearly trusted the most. If things started getting squirrelly and returners were doing boneheaded things, he would put Hyde back there. He wouldn't expect a lot of yards on a return, unless someone on the return team accidentally kicked the ball and then Hyde would pick it up and run for like 50 yards. He was just a calming influence on the return game. 2 Quote
