They'll be ready, but I just don't think they're good enough to beat us yet when we bring our best playoff game, and at home. If they continue to progress, maybe in a year or two ... Quote

Although Skylar did a decent job as I recall. Would like to see us pound Denver and rest starters by 4th quarter. 2 hours ago, MikePJ76 said: The national media (of whom most can not name 3 players on the bills defense) building the broncos into the 85 bears all week is perfect for buffalo. this is exactly the situation we need. It’s the anti bengals take from two years ago. Two years ago it was the bengals line is terrible and the bills will blow them out. so having the media building up the broncos defense is perfect. Let the bills players hear that all week. They clearly responded to this type of thing going into the lions game. i hope it continues. that OL and DL looked totally different in Det than the week prior. 1 Quote

They played the night game at Cincy and yesterday’s game at home. going to be like 25 ish Sunday. It's Colorado. The players, for the most part are acclimated to cold weather. The only thing in question weather wise is Bo Nix, but he played well in Denver yesterday in 30 degrees. 1 Quote

I don't think we've seen Nix in wind yet, so we'll see how it is on Sunday. Quote

Those injuries in Pitt WC game last year, particularly to Bernard (who was playing better last year it seems), really hurt. 1 Quote
wjag Posted Monday at 05:19 PM Posted Monday at 05:19 PM If the playoffs hold to form, seeding wise, Buffalo will face 3 straight running capable QBs: 1. Bo Nix 2. Lamar Jackson 3. Patrick Mahommes. Lane integrity is gonna be a must. 3 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted Monday at 05:22 PM Posted Monday at 05:22 PM It was 32 or 33 yesterday in Denver, but Nix is not that experienced w Cold. My take is it could be a factor. Dry 32° is not that bad at all once you get playing. The Buff crowd, wild noise and the fact he has never played so deep into a season ever are going to be big factors as well. Quote
YoloinOhio Posted Monday at 05:22 PM Posted Monday at 05:22 PM The best thing that could happen is a week of Bo nix hype. Don’t let us down media. Quote

Buffalo winter weather is worse than Colorado. It's typically dry and sunny here in Colorado. The altitude makes the sun warm thing up quite well. One of the reasons I love it here. I'm banking on Bo Nix having the cold, wind, humidity, clouds and of course most importantly, the atmosphere of Highmark get him off his game. 1 1 Quote

appoo Posted Monday at 05:42 PM Posted Monday at 05:42 PM Can see this turning into a bit of a slog as the Broncos have an EXCELLENT defense and have the potential to smother Buffalo's WRs 1 Quote

Still not sure what we'll get out of Cooper. Shakir should be solid, but I don't expect him to take over games. Hollins, Coleman, Samuel.. can they get open/make plays against playoff defense? I'm not necessarily pessimistic about this WR group, but am in more of a wait and see mode. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised and certainly wouldn't be shocked to see Cooper and Coleman step up their game. Quote

Now I just have to hope there are some TVs at one of the poolside bars. Otherwise I'll be squinting at my cell phone screen for a playoff game. (Side note: always do a "Bills schedule check" when booking trips in advance. *sigh*. Stupid Logic) Cast the game to a TV from your phone? I do this routinely if I cant get the game. I would do this in a hotel room as I cant be seen in public while watching a game. 1 Quote

Herbert and Burrow dropped 34 and 30 on them, and the team has not one unless it has held opponent to 20 or less. Excellent-- I think not. Quote
wjag Posted Monday at 06:00 PM Posted Monday at 06:00 PM The thing that stuck out to me yesterday watching the Broncos was how fast they were to the LOS and tackling those behind the LOS tosses to the boundary. Quote
CNYfan Posted Monday at 06:00 PM Posted Monday at 06:00 PM The Broncos are a good team and well coached. The key for Buffalo, imo, is to make all of the kicks and not turn the ball over to the opposition. 2 Quote
appoo Posted Monday at 06:01 PM Posted Monday at 06:01 PM Keon is there to make contested catches, with Surtain the Broncos generally don't move him around, but rahter just take away whatever part of the field he works on. Gonna be an interesting chess match up which I think gets adjustments drive to drive 1 minute ago, Casey D said: But, Broncos only beat one team with winning record (TB week 3) and one decent QB-- Mayfield. All the metrics suggest otherwise, but this is also why they play the game. I think the Bills ends up winning 24 - 10 or something like that Quote

BillytheKid Posted Monday at 06:21 PM Posted Monday at 06:21 PM (edited) The Bills will move the ball at will on the Broncos. The Bills have already faced like 6 of the top 10 defenses this year and put up 30 or more on all of them. Except for the game at Houston when Buffalo didn’t have any wr’s for the game. Coleman was still playing like a rookie at that point. Shakir didn’t play. Had no Amari Cooper yet. None of that will be the case in This game or the playoffs. There isn’t a defense in this year’s NFL that can stop this Bills offense. The question will be can the opponent keep up the scoring with the Bills and how does the Bills defense play with most everyone healthy. Will they show up or get shredded… Edited Monday at 06:22 PM by BillytheKid Quote
colin Posted Monday at 06:26 PM Posted Monday at 06:26 PM i'd like to see kinkaid go off and flummox the interior of the denver back 7. if the bills can run the ball early, it will be a 5+ td day and nix will falter and throw bad passes and picks. 1 Quote
