I'll be in Cancun this weekend.

I'm glad the game is on Sunday at 1pm. Now I just have to hope there are some TVs at one of the poolside bars. Otherwise I'll be squinting at my cell phone screen for a playoff game.

(Side note: always do a "Bills schedule check" when booking trips in advance. *sigh*. Stupid Logic)

A cell phone by the pool with drinks sounds like a truly horrible experience.

Broncos are ahead of schedule on their rebuild despite making a huge mistake on Russell Wilson. Proof that anything short of the Deshaun Watson contract isn't insurmountable.

Nix: I was a skeptic. Payton wouldn't let him do anything in the first few games. He now looks in control, which doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me is that he can make all the throws. Take a look at that 67 air yards TD to Mims, but also the throws over the middle, outs, etc. I thought the best case scenario was a Brock Purdy type. Now I think it's a lot higher. But he's still a rookie.

WRs: again, much better than expected. Sutton is an A- type guy. Mims is fast and improved a lot this year. Vele has been a real find. No TE threat is probably their biggest weakness.

Running game: O Line is finally solid, maybe better than solid. Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin are a good power/speed combo. Payton seems to love Audric Estime; I don't, so I hope he overuses him against us.

Pass rush is for real. Bonitto gets attention as he should, but Franklin-Meyers was a huge addition and Zach Allen is all over the place. Riley Moss was hurt at the CB opposite Surtain; if he's healthy, they're much better than they were when he was out. I do think we can run on them, and I do think they think they can run on us.

Good matchup of an up and coming team against an established winner looking to go the next step. Bills by 9.

When you look at the Bills defense and special teams, this game concerns me a bit. I think it’s the second worst matchup we could have faced in the AFC behind only the Ravens.

Bengals scared me a whole lot more. But I will agree: for the teams that actually made the playoffs, I'd much rather see Pittsburgh.

Bills are 7.5 point favorites. Home teams usually get 3 points to start. So....we are really 4.5 point favorites?

Or does the three point home advantage no longer apply?

It is no longer 3 points these days. Depending on the match up it is 1.5 to 2.

The Bengals never scared me.

they dared the bills to keep running the ball.  They were running all over them and for some reason they kept throwing the ball.  Its why dorsey was fired.  the bills should have run like 40 times that night but payton knew they would keep throwing the ball.

wilson threw that lollipop TD in the endzone that should have been batted down but oh well.  Then of course the penalty at the end.

Nix makes this an entirely different game and so does the season nick benitto is having.

also for fun the Broncos have 3 pro bowlers this year as opposed to the bills two.  So they have more pro bowlers and a better head coach.

I hope the media hammers this Broncos are going to win narrative all week.  It is the perfect setup for Buffalo.

The Broncos run D was terrible that day. We should have run so much more. Avg like 7 ypc .I recall they benched Cook for like 12 min game time due to his fumble. Dorsey last game. Our own O will be so much different.

The crazy storm that aligned for Broncos to win that game ...wow. Bet it sticks in players craw.

Nix will add some to this game, but Wilson actually played very well.

Plus, I'd imagine "running Josh" will be a full go.

What worries me the most about this game is our safeties crapping the bed.   Mims isn't an elite wideout but he will make you pay if you have your eyes too far up field.    That said, the offense cant have a bad game this post-season, they need to score and score a lot.

The Broncos are finally a likable team too. Young guys who are obviously having fun getting better playing together, with obnoxious Payton kind of keeping out of the way this season (unlike last season). Dare I say they kind of remind me of the ascendant Bills?

Anyone know what the coldest game the broncos played in this year?  They played the night game at Cincy and yesterday’s game at home.

going to be like 25 ish Sunday.

Looks like Broncos fans are very confident they can come in here and provide an upset.   They dont seem too worried about the Bills at all.

That's a positive in my book.

Let them be overconfident. Let that overconfidence interfere with their preparations this week.
