I think he's opening the Canadian Tire store on Rymal Road, Hamilton that day. The Bills have been terrible at that time for a good chunk of the year at that hour. On the plus side, the Eagles play right after so maybe I can get a double header going Start watching in the 3rd quarter. The bills will be tied 7-7 and then win 38-10 1 2 Quote

They dont seem too worried about the Bills at all. IMO, they present real problems for the Bills, defensively. This defense is soft as charmin. Quote

Lots of pressure on Buffalo! All of it and none for the broncos like you said. I think they can handle it though. 1 Quote
Gregg Posted Monday at 12:43 PM Posted Monday at 12:43 PM This will be a close game IMHO. Denver has a good defense. I do like the fact that the Bills get a rookie QB in OP even though he has played well. I think the Bills will win but to me this has a 24-17, 27-20 type of game to it. Many on this board will probably scream the Bills suck because they didn't win by 30 but its playoff football. Every team still playing is good. 3 Quote
colin Posted Monday at 12:47 PM Posted Monday at 12:47 PM I'm prolly over confident, but I expect Denver to get absolutely steam rolled. Boat race from the first snap. 2 1 Quote
Back2Buff Posted Monday at 12:47 PM Posted Monday at 12:47 PM 11 AM Mountain Time is rough for the Broncos. They have played at this time 4 times this season going 2 and 2. Lost the last two. The thing that sticks out the most is in these four games, they avg 15 points on offense. I dont think Bo Nix understands what he is going to face on Sunday. Mcdermott coached defense is going to throw things he has never seen in his football career, and he wont have the benefit being able to communicate changes at the line due to crowd. 2 Quote

HOUSE Posted Monday at 12:54 PM Posted Monday at 12:54 PM (edited) This is a crummy match up. You should really give your tickets to some needy person. . Edited Monday at 12:56 PM by HOUSE 5 Quote

H2o Posted Monday at 01:14 PM Posted Monday at 01:14 PM This game could be like the Colts game a couple of years ago. Payton is still an excellent offensive mind and Nix fits his system perfectly. He's also more mobile than Brees ever was. That's what makes me nervous is the kid's mobility. We can't have guys out there blowing their assignments, taking bad angles, and missing tackles. There is a lot of motions and misdirection in their offense. We are going to have to play disciplined football. They also have guys that get after the QB, as evidenced by them leading the league in sacks with 63. Our OL will have to play one of their best games of the season. Two of our losses this season came against two of the teams in the top 4 in this statistic. Houston and Baltimore. If we cannot protect JA17 this game could go off the rails. In the end, I expect us to pull out a hard fought victory. The crowd noise will be a huge advantage for the Bills. Quote

Many on this board will probably scream the Bills suck because they didn't win by 30 but its playoff football. Every team still playing is good. Let's be real. If you re-seed all the teams based on how they're playing, eye test, etc.. Denver and the Chargers are probably 4&5 in either order. Houston and Pittsburgh would be 6 & 7. So the Bills are not playing the true 7 seed in my opinion. Quote
mjt328 Posted Monday at 01:28 PM Posted Monday at 01:28 PM (edited) The reason I wanted this opponent (and not the Bengals), is that I believe Josh Allen is somewhat matchup proof. When he's focused and motivated, it doesn't matter how good the other Defense is. He will find ways to make plays. Denver's strength is in their pass rush. But our guy is the best in the NFL at avoiding sacks. I would be absolutely shocked if we don't put at least 25-30 points on them. On the other side of the ball, I fully expect our Defense to have some issues (like they have all season). But if Sean McDermott/Bobby Babich can't figure out how to at least slow down a rookie QB in his first NFL playoff game... then we need to seriously consider moving on from this coaching staff in the offseason. A defensive staff can't ask for a better matchup in the 1st Round of the postseason. Edited Monday at 01:28 PM by mjt328 1 2 Quote
