If Brady gets a HC job, would you like the Bills to hire McDaniel as OC if fired by Dolphins?

He was extended through 2028 before this season started.  He's not getting fired.  He wins with Tua & loses when Tua is injured.

The Miami Dolphins will be keeping their head coach around for a while longer. The team signed Mike McDaniel to a contract extension that will keep him in Miami through the 2028 season.

Nah, McDaniels and the Fins lose when Tua starts too.  In 3 seasons, they have only beaten a team with a winning record a total of 4 times.

2022 they lost 5 in a row in their last 6 games with Tua making the final game a win and in, lose and go home game for the Fins.  And ironically, Tua didn't play the final game and a 3rd string rookie started and snapped the 5 game losing streak to help Miami limp into the playoffs as the 7th seed.d

2023 they blew a huge divisional lead against by losing 3 of their final 5 games, again with Tua, going from divisional winners and potential 1 or 2 seed earlier in the season to barely making the playoffs again as the 7th seed (again).

2024 They went 6-5 with Tua as the starter and were 1-4 against teams with a winning record (only beating the Rams) in the games Tua played.

Tua overall has a winning record in the NFL and came very close to beating Buffalo in our last game vs Fins. McDaniels and Tua are joined at the hip much like Fitz and Gailey gone fishing.

Speaking of Fitz OP, I still billieve the bearded one would make a brilliant OC and Fitzy's leadership abilities, football brain and knowledge of the Gailey O is being wasted in broadcasting.

Myself personally, players like Tua, and even more so Damar Hamlin. The heart and courage they display for the love of the game of football is truly inspirational.

Fitz is a Harvard grad, had one of the highest Wonderlic Scores ever, Earned 82 Million in his NFL career, has a cushy TV gig, and seven kids, lives in a suburb of Phoenix where he almost never has to shovel snow.  Why would he ever want to work 100 hours a week and sleep in his office developing game plans.

Lived there, Pheonix is overrated, poor Fitzy can't step outside without jumping in the swimming pool. Besides, Fitz loves the Buffalo Bills and has enough fur on him to run naked in the snow. Broadcasting has very little challenge and Fitzy is probably bored as hell with it.

(I'm just saying)

"Mike McDaniels" and "Cris Collingsworth" are probably the most widespread misspellings of NFL fans on the internet.

Christ, we couldn't even get many here to realize it was Tremaine Edmunds on the Bills, not Edmonds.  One guy even called him Edwards.

I would love to see if the could sway Frank Reich into OC.

Outside his stint in Philly as OC Frank's NFL coaching record isn't that impressive.

Ian Rapoport on X: "#Bills QB Josh Allen, when asked what OC Joe Brady has brought to the offense this year: “Nothing. Teams should stay away from him.”   Brady has interest from several teams this HC cycle and… I don’t expect team’s to listen to Allen 🤷‍♂️." / X

At first I read this as "if [Tom] Brady gets a coaching job [for Miami], would you hire McDaniel?"

[Makes some sense, given their past mutual interest.]
