Yeah he should have snuck it but even that does get stopped from time to time. Its also not just this one specific 4th down. That probably could have been like 4th and 2 or something and he still would have went for it. I dont care what analytics say. Sometimes the analytics are right and the call is right but the outcome costs you a game. Sometimes its better to just take the points.

Kudos to defenses today putting up great pressures and plays by both teams. It really has grounded both passing games.

I don’t know why teams are so afraid of allowing a kickoff return.  Even giving the Lions the ball at the 30 would have given them a decent chance to score.

I wouldn't go quite that far.

Most of the mistakes are the result of good pressure defense and not just incompetence, imo.

And everybody there is fully engaged too.

Just a tough defensive first half.

The Rams have a decent chance if Stafford gets hot in the playoffs. He’s been there before. Goff is streaky, and Darnold is a giant question mark.
