Credit Detroits defense. They are not worried about giving up plays on the back end and are forcing Darnold to have to stand in there with guys in his face and make accurate throws.

So far detroit is winning the chess match.

A coworker of mine just hopped on the lions bandwagon this year and decided he was gonna be a lions fan. It's so annoying. Routes for them like he's followed them since he was a kid. I'm like dude you've liked them for like 3 months

He needs to feel good about something. Maybe if you gave him a hug occasionally he wouldn't be like that.

Where was #89 on that play? That looked liked grounding

The RB was there but it should have been illegal touching on the OL.

I think 89 is the guy that knocked it down.  He was an eligible receiver on the play, so it was the correct call.

Yeah don’t be so quick to sign Sam to that $50million.  May want to dust off JJ next season lol

Sam Bradford is quite capable until you really need him.

I thought it was #68 but was also wrestling with a puppy at the time.

Thanks for the heads up.

No, 89 was way off to the right. Goff didn’t even throw it in his direction. It hit an offensive lineman in the back. But I don’t think it’s illegal touching because the guy didn’t try to catch it. Should have just been intentional grounding.
