Billl Posted Monday at 04:22 AM Posted Monday at 04:22 AM Really don’t understand KOC’s thinking here. Put the backups in and take the L. Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted Monday at 04:22 AM Posted Monday at 04:22 AM see, thats what you do on 3rd/4th & long, blitz so you dont give time for the routes to develop. Quote

That is pretty good for a guy everyone uses as a punchline. I guess you could make the case all these guys are part of sean payton's tree and in essence Bill Parcells actual coaching tree. but for now Campbell is going to have the start to a coaching tree with his two coordinators getting head coaching jobs in a few weeks. That is two more than Mike Tomlin in like 15 years as HC in pittsburgh. Pretty sure they’re more part of Holmgrens tree. Ben Johnson, Zac Taylor, and Dan Campbell all coached for Miami under Joe Philbin / Mike Sherman, who was a disciple of Holmgren. 1 Quote

Doc Brown Posted Monday at 04:24 AM Posted Monday at 04:24 AM Still have their starters in up 31-9 with three minutes left? 1 Quote
Ralonzo Posted Monday at 04:25 AM Posted Monday at 04:25 AM Thought Christian Mahogany (BC) was some great value for Detroit in the draft, 6th or 7th round iirc? Quote

Billl Posted Monday at 04:32 AM Posted Monday at 04:32 AM So in one conference, the top two teams are fighting to the bitter end. In the other conference, Buffalo lost to the Patriots, and Kansas City (‘s accountants) got rinsed 38-0. Quote

Campbell played for Payton in NY and in Dallas and through 1 training camp with the saints. Bill Parcells is Sean Payton's Padre. Campbell was hired to his first job in miami by Tony Sporano. Sporano was with Payton in Dallas under Parcells and was hired as the Dolphins head coach by Bill Parcells when he took over the dolphins in 08. Aaron Glenn played for Parcells in NY and in Dallas. He played for Payton in New Orleans. Payton Hired Glenn to be the saints DB Coach and then Campbell hired him to be the DC in Detroit. Ben Johnson was on the staff with Campbell in Miami, Campbell kept Ben Johnson in Detroit when he was hired as the HC, and Johnson worked under Anthony Lynn originally in Detroit yet another Parcells guy having been on that same staff with payton, sporano in 05-06 in Dallas. Ralonzo Posted Monday at 04:39 AM Posted Monday at 04:39 AM Darnold 18/41 for 166 in the biggest game of his life. He is who we thought he was. 1 Quote
DCofNC Posted Monday at 04:41 AM Posted Monday at 04:41 AM So, have we seen the real Darnold all year or is the guy throwing 3’ high to everyone tonight the real Darnold? I’d hate to be the guy making the call on signing him or letting him walk this offseason. Quote
