Since giving Gruden that crazy contract, they’ve: fired Gruden for off field stupidity, then passed over his interim replacement who made the playoffs (Bisaccia) in order to hire franchise-destroyer extraordinaire Josh McDaniels, only to fire that guy after he ran their franchise quarterback out of town and THIS time they KEEP the interim coach — only to also fire him after just one year with one of the least talented teams in the league. Just how many guys are they paying right now to NOT be their head coach? And how can I become one of them? 😆 There also always seems to be reports that Davis is cash poor. With the NFL ‘s TV contracts, how can an owner be so inept to be cash poor? Did his dad leave him with a lot of debt or does he have lavish spending habits? He sure doesn’t spend money on a hair stylist. Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Brady finally getting back at Peirce for the Giants ruining the Pats undefeated season. In all seriousness, they did Peirce and Mayo dirty and the league will make sure Flores gets a job this year to keep everyone at bay. I just think its kind of crazy. Like, why does a guy like Brian Callahan get a pass? He had Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, Jeffrey Simmons, Tyler Boyd, L'Jarius Snead, Harold Landry, Tony Pollard...a bunch of high picks on the offensive line and his very experienced dad by his side and went 3-14. BillsFooteball Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Very wild to me but random found out today my boss’s cousin is Jerod mayo. I can’t believe never mentioned to me as I end every email on Friday with Go bills! Edited 13 hours ago by BillsFooteball Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Jets are still looking to talk to literally everyone about their HC job. It's good to be thorough, but at this point their search seems rudderless. 1 1 Quote

Callahan was terrible this season and definitely deserves to be let go, same with Steichen in Indy. Keeping a failing coach dooms your next season as well. Might as well make the move now instead of week 7 next season. Edited 10 hours ago by TheFunPolice 1 Quote

They interviewed about a dozen guys all types no specifications... was a mess. 1 Quote

And BTW, Mark Davis spends a lot of money on that stupid haircut: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/13735322/are-mark-davis-raiders-leaving-oakland Quote

That actually makes a lot of sense, as Tom Brady is supposedly involved heavily in the HC search. He knows how good Spags is better than most. Quote

Nihilarian Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Speaking of Spags! "Jets' rumors could lead to full Chiefs takeover of franchise leadership" Specifically, the Jets are wanting to interview Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo for the role of head coach and Chiefs exec Mike Borgonzi to potentially take over as general manager. Together they would infuse the AFC West team with the experience and culture of a team that's won three of the last five Super Bowls. Quote
Nihilarian Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago It is an interesting read, it looks like Albert Breer is upset over what the NE Patriots owner is up to. "Breer: Patriots head coach search ‘looks like a sham" https://sports.yahoo.com/breer-patriots-head-coach-search-022734515.html Quote

Bring him in!! Get-r-done!!!!" 1 hour ago, Nihilarian said: Speaking of Spags! Sort of like sprinkling fairy dust on the Jets organization, eh? 🤣🤨 Quote
