djp14150 Posted Sunday at 10:20 PM Posted Sunday at 10:20 PM (edited) These are just some of the Bonuses available to players… Tampa bay had the game won late after 4 th down stop and some 20 seconds left. So normal snap and kneel. Mike Evans was 5 yds short of 1,000yards which sets a new standings in the record and a signing bonus. Thry tree a quick pass for 8 yards Seattle QB Geno Smith has a yards passing bonus of around $2M and a 10W bonus of $2M . He was around 185 yds short of it coming into this game W today triggers the win bonus Edited Sunday at 10:29 PM by djp14150 Quote

ticketssince61 Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM Posted Sunday at 10:31 PM He got $3mm for the catch. Really surprised they threw a real pass and not just a shovel pass But can you imagine the outcry if Baker threw a pick 6 and they ended up missing the playoffs because of it Quote
Sojourner Posted Sunday at 10:37 PM Posted Sunday at 10:37 PM Huh? Mike Evans went over 1k dude… 1 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted Sunday at 10:39 PM Posted Sunday at 10:39 PM It's pretty interesting and say a lot about the Jones's but Cooper Rush had a 250k incentive with like 50 more snaps today and the word here in DFW is Jerry made McCarthy play Lance. 1 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted Sunday at 10:40 PM Posted Sunday at 10:40 PM Im still pissed we didn't take Mike Evans 😡 5 Quote

Ethan in Cleveland Posted Sunday at 11:38 PM Posted Sunday at 11:38 PM Can't believe the NFL is happy with all this bonus money discussion during the telecasts. Maybe I'm wrong. Just doesn't have a good look. In Evans' case at least the game mattered. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted Sunday at 11:43 PM Posted Sunday at 11:43 PM Please do not post stuff like this especially when their plane probably has not even landed yet. Going to put the maloiik on the team. Quote

Absolutely NO ONE had Mike Evans as a better prospect than Sammy Watkins. If we would have handed in a card for Mike Evans with Sammy Watkins on the board - we'd have been laughed out of the building and people would have been scrambling to figure out what they didn't know about Watkins. Watkins to Evans wasn't 1a or 1b. It was 1 and a pretty sizable gap before 2, regardless of where they were picked. Watkins was considered a generational talent, the top WR prospect perhaps ever at that time. Mike Evans over Sammy Watkins on Draft Day 2014 is the most extreme case of using hindsight to make an argument. Edited Sunday at 11:55 PM by BillsFanForever19 2 Quote

That sadly makes me feel slightly better, I have never gone back to look at that draft because I did not realize how bad that was until we got Josh and he made it all better Quote

The bonus talk is pushing a narrative that the players won’t tank because they have money on the line. 45 minutes ago, Bferra13 said: Adding another game onto the season made even more crap irrelevant games. They probably could fix it a bit by slotting home field to record instead of division winners. At least this Vikings/Lions game should be good because it’s for all the marbles. Quote
