Pats fans seriously sound like tools.  They expected the players to full on tank?  A lot of blame towards Mayo as if the team was good.  It sucked.

I think Mayo was really in trouble once he called his defense soft and Belicheck immediately defended the players and said the only thing that changed was coaching.

Yea this is what I don’t get ? Vrabel was available last year unless they wanted to give Mayo a chance. Still that’s a big risk if the guy you want is there to be had. I’d rather have Vrabel in NE than a food OC type to work with Maye and whichever weapon they draft at 4

They gave him one of the worst rosters in the NFL, a rookie qb, and he won as many games as the greatest coach ever did the year before. Literally, they gave him no chance.
