I bet that happens. Without Belichick there it kinda looks like Kraft may be a Jerry Jones type owner with worse drafting skills. Guess we'll see. They need to hire Vrabel

I very much disagree with this firing.

 

he’s a first year HC on a losing team who drafted a QB at #3 and you played a rookie QB

 

he would have  not played Mayo if he knew he’d get fired.

They need to trade down from #4. Stockpile picks and if they hire Vrabel, along with Maye progressing and piling up picks they will probably turn that franchise around in a couple more years. They will certainly pass Miami and the Jets by 2026 and maybe even by next year to be the resident second place team in the division for the rest of Allen’s tenure with Buffalo.

Kraft didn’t like him interviewing with Jets.. he need his TV pan shots to be over 5 like in the BB years. That is all.

i thought for sure they were hiring vrabel last year, but i think they had basically promised mayo he was the head coach in waiting prior to firing BB.

I guess, but that succession plan goes out the window when your guy is there. Mayo had zero credentials to be an HC

Wel they were probably already in talks with him behind the scenes. If I remember correctly, he got hired the next day or 2 after Vrabel got canned.
