I think the Jets will only drop 1 spot if they win which isn't too bad. Going from the 5/6 slot to 7/8 while bad isn't tragic. Going from 1 to 4 is a big drop relatively speaking. 1 Quote

The Bears got a haul for the Bryce Young pick adding a 2nd rounder and DJ Moore while also adding a future 1st and 2nd rounders to their back pockets. Pick 4 is still gonna land them a premium prospect but not having pick 1 is a kick in the pants for them. I honestly think the Bills could have won had they stuck with Mitch. Which I completely understand. More just from a Bills fan side I don't like to take too much joy is another teams misery because of how fast that can change. 1 Quote

Generally I agree, it's a nice side effect of the game to have hurt the Pats draft slot but in the end the Pats fortunes are gonna rest largely on how good or bad Drake Maye and their next coaching staff is so it is not as though the Bills did all that much damage. L Ron Burgundy Posted Sunday at 11:29 PM Posted Sunday at 11:29 PM (edited) Great job managing that game. Played it like pre season. Edited Sunday at 11:31 PM by L Ron Burgundy Quote

Two coaches fired in consecutive years Terrible drafts Cold weather Taxes Intense media If Kraft is truly willing to hand over control of the organization to a coach then it isn't a bad job. You have a young QB in place, you have the number 4 pick and a decent amount of draft capital overall while also being in a good position cap space wise. The question is will Kraft actually be hands off and let a regime come in and have 3 years to fully execute a rebuild properly? If Kraft hands the keys over to a regime it's not a bad job but if you are dealing with a meddling owner it is not an appealing job at all. Quote

'That really took the sail out of our winds,' he said. Other mixed metaphors from the mouth of Bullough compiled this season include: -'The spare of the moment.' -'I have to teach these guys the work ethnic.' -'We keep beating ourselves, but we're getting better at it.' -'He's making improvement throwing the ball where he's throwing the ball.' Another famous Bullough line was mumbled when he was asked to rate this year's crop of college running backs. 'Well,' he said, thinking about Bo Jackson and Napoleon McCallum, 'you've got that Jackson kid at Auburn and that Bonaparte kid at Navy.' https://www.upi.com/Archives/1985/12/20/Buffalo-Bills-Coach-Hank-Bullough-is-earning-a-reputation/8196503902800/ 3 Quote

Success Posted Monday at 02:05 AM Posted Monday at 02:05 AM Pats fans online are hilarious. I've seen at least half a dozen sentiments that are furious that they didn't throw the game on purpose, but that we're losers & it's bad karma that we didn't play our best & get the win. Such a delusional group. Quote

He often praised his team’s “work ethnic” and talked about making decisions on the “spare of the moment.” After a loss to the New York Jets, he said a long pass play had taken “the sails right out of our wind.” That still ranks as his all-time best, and wound up being repeated in a post-game press conference years later by another beleaguered Bills head coach, Mike Mularkey. https://rbj.net/2014/10/10/nothing-like-a-good-sport-malapropism-to-lighten-the-mood/ I vaguely remember some wise guy sportswriter at the time suggesting Mularkey was morphing into Hank Bullough. 1 Quote
pigpen65 Posted Monday at 03:14 AM Posted Monday at 03:14 AM McD had a great game today. I lol'd when he declined the holding penalty that would have moved the Pats into a 50+ yard FG 1 hour ago, Success said: Pats fans online are hilarious. We can laugh all we want but they likely come back next year with Vrabel as the coach, a good young QB, and a more talented roster. Jesus, man. At least try to hide your allegiances. The Pats*** royally screwed things up today and there’s no way around it. 1 Quote
