They likely wouldn’t be using it. They would have it for sale to the whatever team, desires whatever QB, emerges. I’ve heard that some teams don’t love Sanders. The flip side is NFL teams like Drew Allar quite a bit. Can Ward probably is going to be the guy to go 1st IMO. The Pats would be adding at least a 1st to slide down only a few spots. Basically they would get the guy they are going to take at 4 now PLUS an additional 1st & 3rd (or something like that). There is nothing to not like about the result regardless of their draft history. That holds especially true for a team that already has their QB. I’d rather that they get Kelvin Banks than Kelvin Banks AND a Jahmyr Gibbs level prospect.

Yeah I've heard the same about Sanders and Deion's presence makes it worse and might be trying to pull what Archie Manning did with Eli.  Allar and Weigmann are guys I've heard things about but neither are top-3 worthy.  That leaves Ward who may have hurt himself by sitting-out the 2nd half of that bowl game.  A lot more will be known after all-star games, the Combine, Pro Days and interviews.

Tuned out most of the game, mostly because I couldn't actually see it, technically was a pain to see what I could, but what I did the Bills seemed to treat it more like a chance to have a good practice with the backups in against another team.

 

Besides some attempts to get money/stats/records for starters early, no ***** were given.

I still get PTSD from time to time thinking about how many draft picks the Bills gave up for him….what did we all end up deciding it was? 7 picks? 12 picks? It seemed to grow by the day

The Patriots winning cost them the #1 pick and dropped them to #4. That’s like losing an entire first round pick (in value). It would cost that much, if not more, to move from #4 to #1.

Putting from the 35 was the chefs kiss.

It hurts them as NE would have moved down and tried to get a ton of picks.  Now I see them stay at 4 and go OL,DL or WR

I think Pats fans were hoping to have the number 1 pick and sell it off to the highest bidder to get picks. The Bears got a haul for the Bryce Young pick adding a 2nd rounder and DJ Moore while also adding a future 1st and 2nd rounders to their back pockets. Pick 4 is still gonna land them a premium prospect but not having pick 1 is a kick in the pants for them. I honestly think the Bills could have won had they stuck with Mitch.
