One of my favorite players ever but he’s become such a weirdo and a divisive guy for 2 franchises now. When your own family doesn’t speak with you, it’s a major red flag.

It’s hilarious how quick some here have immediately turned to stressing over the Broncos. Give me a break. Yeah, they are a good team but no where near as dangerous as Burrow and Chase/Higgins. McD eats rookie QBs for lunch. I’m glad they blew out KC because they are going to be over confident. This weekend couldn’t have tuned out any better for us. NE drops down the draft order, Miami is a complete Cluster Fk, Joe Burrow and his frosted tips are making reservations in Cabo, Mayo gets fired (wish they kept that loser). I didn’t want to see Miami because the law of averages is going to catch up eventually and I don’t want any chance that could be in the playoffs.

 

This is the best era of Bills football since the Super Bowl years and if we win one, then it will be the best. Take the time to enjoy the moment instead of worrying about Bo Nix looking good against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

One thing that would have made it better for me is if Tua played and another 'under 40 degree loss' would have been added to his resume - such a missed opportunity

Ya there's no easy matchup in the playoffs, but you can't get too much better than Denver.

 

Thats 10x better than playing Joe Burrow and those weapons

They keep saying that Rodgers is going to play somewhere else next year, but how in the heck is he going to get out of that contract?

I used to think burrow was better than Lamar a couple years ago but Lamar not only has his number but if Lamar is healthy he is a shoe in for the playoffs and division championship 

 

Burrow missing the playoffs this year has probably pushed him to top 5-7. Maybe that's not fair but I can't call you top 5 QB if you miss the playoffs two years in a row. 

 

He can obviously regain that status but we'll see. He's taking a lot of punishment which is ironic because that's what everyone keeps saying they're worried about with Allen and Lamar. 

 

QBs get hurt by unexpected awkward hits in his pocket. They take more punishment if they can't escape

What's even more impressive to me is he basically lost the first 3 years of his career by sitting behind Favre. Lost another last year and had seasons where he only played 9 and 7 games respectively. 

 

That adds up to 5 lost seasons of stats he could have had. A world class head case....but truly one of the top 3-5 to ever play the position.

I have enjoyed every second of it.  This year has been amazing.  Its everything I have wanted out of this team.  Build a run game, commit to it and run the ball.  They did it.  Its awesome.

if the sisters of the poor were rolling in here next week as the opponent in the wild card game I would be nervous.  That is the nature of the NFL playoffs.

 

imo the only fans who are not nervous are the arrogant johnny come lately fans and the fans that are like casual and don't really understand the nuances of the games and the matchups.

I have to say it is very entertaining to see Jets and Rodgers being happy about winning meaningless game which makes them pick 9 instead of 6 or so (and I get that players want to win).

He's definitely rough around the edges. 

 

His playoff game vs the falcons in 2010 is a work of art. He might be the most talented QB I've ever seen. In his prime it was almost unreal

Fair points. I’m a big fan of comparison is the thief of joy. Obviously, I’m a bills fan but I really can respect other players. I really like Lamar because he does it his own way and keeps getting doubted despite winning numerous awards/ improving ever year. Burrow may be the best pure pocket passer right now. Mahomes and Allen are in their own category. So I just view them all as top 5 guys rather than rank them. 
 

I would put Herbert behind them until he wins something meaningful. One of the most talented guys in the league and they are going to be a problem going forward with Harbaugh.

Honestly, he’s still a solid starter in this league. I heard someone mention the Steelers and that would make a ton of sense.

Jets falling back in the draft with their win. NE squanders the #1 pick with their win. While MIA and Cinncy’s late season run without reaching the playoffs pushing them farther down in the draft. Works for me!

 

Cinncy’s roster will look much different next season with Chase getting his money and Higgins most likely leaving for FA.

I totally agree.  There were people here that were certain Cincinnati were making the playoffs despite the probably firmly cemented at under 10%.  
 

Some were convinced that Andy Reid wouldn’t sit the starters due to the Christmas game and bye week - even though team reporters had said that was the plan. 

 

Then we we saw the lineup the same people were still concerned that a good Denver team couldn’t beat the Kansas City second team.  
 

Man… all that time and energy wasted on stressing about a flawed Bengals team.   Now that energy has shifted to Denver after beating up on a team of 2nd and 3rd stringers talent 🤣
