You'd give up Two 1st's, Two 2nd's, Two 4th's, Two 5th's, and Three 6th's for one DE? Eleven lottery tickets and players under Rookie deals for a single player that we'd also have to designate a massive amount of cap space to?

Yeah, then he'd turn on him as soon as he got hurt and start yelling about how we need to get rid of him.

The draft is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. I’m already dozens of mock drafts in 😂😂. With 5 picks in rounds 4 and 5, it’s realistic to flip that into a 3rd & 2 4ths. The Bills SHOULD be able to pick 6 times in the first 135 picks. They’d still have more picks but it’s realistic to expect 6+ guys that’ll actually play (plus the 6ths). They have a chance to get a high end WR, fix the DL while adding depth there, add secondary depth and just select some guys that slip. It’s a GREAT opportunity to raise the talent level of a team that, despite winning A LOT of football games, still only had 2 pro bowlers.

Love it, but the 5th is Beane's sweet spot so I wouldnt be surprised if we stayed put.

(and maybe even traded back form the 4th just so he can pick up an extra 5th rounder )

I would trade all of that and a 2026 1st for a premier pass rusher.

This is why fans don’t run teams.

Also, aren’t you the guy in the Von Miller thread crushing him because he might play tomorrow to get one more sack? I can’t even imagine the vitriol your posts would have if this mythical premier pass rusher that the Bills would trade thru entire draft for went maybe 2 games without a sack

We've always done a good job finding at least one keeper with late picks, and we'll need to because while Vikings have been a nice NFC story, the fact they might be the #1 seed is a tragedy from our perspective. I bet Beane pegged the Diggs pick as top 40. Instead, it’s going to be #55-64 range.

Need one extra starter to make up for potentially missing on an impact player depending on how deep the draft is.

...and with their 2nd 2025 compensatory pick, the Bills pick an undersized DT who projects as a 3-tech, but will play the 1 in McDermott's system. Not particularly stout or massive, he isn't goung to tie up two lineman or outright secure the A gaps, but (player) is a blue-collar, lunchpail, steel worker, cowboy, old 1st Ward brawler that the fans will love.  (Player) will look to win battles with a quick first step, perfect  technique, and support from teammates. A liability against the run and not being able to push the pocket, (Player) will struggle to fill the 1-tech starting role.

My new years resolution was to think about everything with my heart and nothing with my brain

Trade 32nd pick for an early 2nd and a 3rd.

With your three 2nds you take DL WR CB

Between your three picks between the 3rd/4th you take a LB DL and best available but fine with double dip at CB or WR

Rest of your picks are the usual picks

Win it all again and start an all time dynasty

Instead of giving away the farm for one impact player that will draw $30 mil. a year off the cap, Beane has been excellent at getting mid round popeople for McD and his team to develop.  Think of Milano, Shakir, Benford, and so on.  This should bring us up to 10 picks.  That provides a great deal of flexibility to move up when we see someone, create even further depth at each position.

It’s also cheap labor.  This is exactly what we need to extend GROOT, Benford, if they decide Cook, etc.

A few always want to find fault for a team that could go tomorrow for the first time in history a 14 win team, or tie the best record in years last at 13, and so much potential to keep our keepers and add where we want.

Honestly if he did he is an idiot. The pre-season narrative that the Vikings would end up with a bottom 10 record was always fanciful and some of us were saying it then. Way too much talent and way too well coached to be a bottom 10 team. Did I expect them in the race for the #1 seed? No. But they were always at worst a game either side of .500 for me.
