Outside of the division leaders and the Cowboys, nobody was better than 9-8. There was an entire division that had an 8-9 leader with the rest being 7-10. He's always been a petulant child. Thats why he started here on the sideline but got moved to the booth. To get him away from Allen during the game. My apologies, so you did. I think it's not uncommon for there to be one dominant team in each division and the rest not so much, and to have one division be bad. If you look across at the AFC that same year, the 2nd teams in 2 divisions were 10-7 (vs 9-8) and there was a division where the best team was 9-8 and nobody else was better than 7-10. I'm not sure you can support a "fluke - bad conference" argument on 1 win each for 3 teams, but maybe you want to try. Peace out. Quote
billsfan89 Posted Sunday at 01:23 AM Posted Sunday at 01:23 AM While I think Vrabel is actually a solid choice for the Jets but even if they manage to get a good coach in there I just don't think they will turn it around unless the owner stops meddling in the teams operations. Woody Johnson has turned into the 2000's and early 2010's James Dolan and the Jets are just as dysfunctional as the Knicks were. 1 Quote

The Red King Posted Sunday at 01:54 PM Posted Sunday at 01:54 PM (edited) Why would any veteran, respectable coach go to a team that is that much of a train wreck like the Jets? There was a reason that there kept being talk about Cowher and other big names coming to coach Buffalo, only to get McDermott. Young coaching prospects have to be far less picky. I can't see the Jets getting anything but at this point. Edited Sunday at 01:54 PM by The Red King Quote

I don't think he's anything special. I think he will. His podcast is popular and people usually let things go with time. As the great Ari Gold once said...the only thing people love more than when a celebrity tears themselves down is a comeback story. How do you comeback from being a scumbag racist and sexist? People do not get over that. Whoever were to sign him will have to answer for this everyday. The only place I could see him getting a job is Dallas because the owner flat out does not care about anything or anybody plus he probably speaks candidly the same way gruden does. Jerry said today after the game that he would like a head coach who would accept incentives in his contract. No coach worth anything would do that unless they are a scumbag who needs to accept terms like this. Quote

I doubt vrabel ends up with the jets. NE is a way better job Quote

He made some wow throws into tight coverage. There was an Allen throw where he rolled out right, pressed the sideline and delivered a strike to a WR who had a DB draped all over him. Quote
