Bills!Win! Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM They didn’t want to put a lot of Bills because they’ll all have to skip the pro bowl when they’re going to the superbowl 1 Quote
H2o Posted Thursday at 04:30 PM Posted Thursday at 04:30 PM This year it will be Josh Allen's turn to snub the Pro Bowl. Pat can take his spot at the festivities. 3 Quote
SCBills Posted Thursday at 04:34 PM Posted Thursday at 04:34 PM Spencer Brown and Christian Benford are a Super Bowl run away from being household names in the NFL. Brown is every bit as good as the RT’s named and Benford, same for the CB’s… but it’s going to take more exposure for a lockdown corner to get recognized over a ball hawk. James Cook was robbed, but I think the way we spread the ball around — even within the RB room — may have played a part. A guy like Mixon is THE guy for the Texans backfield. 2 1 Quote

Allen and Dawkins Cook beat out by Joe Mixon??? That is a travesty. Spencer Brown beat out by Tunsil No Taron Johnson and no Christian Benford. Wow this is a massive slight!! How Is Mixon over Cook a travesty? He has more rushing yards and more receiving yards than Cook in 3 less games played. Cook finished 7th in rushing yards, his biggest case would be the TD's, but Mixon still has 10 TD's himself, again in 3 less games. 3 hours ago, BuffaloBillyG said: The Pro Bowl continues to show how meaningless it is when a 13 win team will MULTIPLE national games sends 2 players through the voting process. No doubt, the Pro Bowl is and has been meaningless. But, who else on the Bills had a case? This isn't a team success vote No one on offense had a big statistical season individually in our spread the ball around offense outside Allen. Dawkins was the most dominant OL player. On defense, no one on our entire defense is in the top 10 in any statistical category and our leading tackler is now a backup (Dorian). We have no one with more than 2 INT's, and our sack leader is Groot at 8 which puts him tied for just 15th in the AFC (and tied for 23rd overall in the NFL). So not sure where some people are surprised or outraged, the pro bowl is an individual vote, not a reflection of team success. If anything...this shows just how much McD should be in the running, if not flat out win, COY having achieved our season with a roster where few players had any type of big or outstanding season. I don't know about a "travesty" but Mixon has just 12 more rushing yards on 47 more carries and 46 more receiving yards on 13 more targets. 1 1 1 Quote

Voting is mostly an exercise of "Oh, I recognize that name". It's just like when a player gets waived who was once a relevant fantasy player, fans immediately need to sign the guy or "kick the tires". Nevermind he has done jack for the last 3 years and is 32 years old and has a bad attitude. 1 Quote

I didn't think TJ played as well this year tbh. Mixon over cook feels the most wrong. OL is always just a popularity contest after the clear "dudes". Corner is a tough spot. Stingley has been lights out, as has surtain. I'd feel wrong taking etiher off. Humphrey has 6 picks, and 2 forced fumbles - hard to ignore those numbers. I guess you could make the argument for denzel ward, but he's also still... very good. 1 Quote
