Because if so it actually makes some sense (Allen, Dawkins, Ja'mar Chase, Derrick Henry, Patrick Ricard etc)

Yeah, Cook has been better this season than Mixon, although the latter has been pretty solid too (58 more total yards than Cook; 12 TDs to Cook's 15). I think Cook should have gotten it, although the case can be made that Mixon has the harder road given the Texans passing game struggles. Still, pro bowl voting is always going to have a popularity contest element to it.  Cook averages 2.6 yards before contact and Mixon 2.2. Cook has 14 broken tackles and Mixon 19.

By my eye Mack Hollins is our best ST player by a giant margin. I get it, nobody pays attention to gunners across the league. But at the same time Hollins has been amazing in kick coverage for us and not getting any votes is a criminal.

Mixon did have a really good stretch of games, when he came back from injury in October.   He had 7 out of 8 games over 100 yards with at least 1 TD.    Cook has definitely been better the last month and full year stats are better.  But early voting and name recognition probably cost him.

Back in the 1970s, Miami had the "No Name Defense."

We also have a No Name defense - if you include only our starters and not Von the backup.  

 

We have a One Name Offense.  

 

Yet we won the AFCE and beat both the Lions and Chiefs.

I actually think the Bills don’t use Cook as much as they should. Dude averages 5.0 ypc. But he is healthy so I can’t second guess it. But he 100% is a top 5 rb and deserving of recognition. 
 

I think a few o linemen deserved if as well but honestly, most people don’t pay attention to the o linemen.

I haven’t followed it on Twitter but thaw tweet you linked seems to imply that there’s an extension already in the works and they’re waiting to ink the deal.

Yeah. I think Spencer Brown has been just as dominant, if not more so this year, but he doesn't have the name recognition or the personality.

I say transition tag him and let him go. We have two behind him that are, can be, studs as well. This just letting people walk without a tag by us is BS.

Barnwell is not an actual AP voter, however, so it doesn’t matter. But he’s at least a very knowledgeable observer. Truly, a motley crew. Who knows who they’ll end up picking.

I didn't like that he qualified by saying we'll see what happens this week and Allen won't be playing. In my mind if Lamar gets 5 TDS and they beat the Browns 38-3 means nothing as far as changing the argument for Josh.

Brown might not get in. He doesn't have the name value of Johnson. But I think he will get votes.

 

The only other Bills I expect to get votes (other than Josh obviously who will be a 1st team all pro) are Benford and possibly Rousseau and I don't think either will get enough to get into the teams.

Happy to be wrong about Allen.  I thought the snub last year would carry over.  I guess all he had to do was not turn the ball over as much.

I've got to admit, this was good for a laugh.

 

The top center is the guy from the Lions.  So are the top two guards.  And the top two tackles. 

 

This is truly amazing.  The Lion OL must be the greatest offensive line of all-time.  Thurman with creaky knees at age 58 could gain yards with these guys out front. 

 

Yet the voters also voted the Lions RB #1.

The Pro Bowl team should SOLIDIFY Josh Allen as MVP. There are MULTIPLE Ravens (offensive) players selected as opposed to only Dion Dawkins for the Bills
