In a game where many starters will be rested, what young player are you most interested to see play?

Not really young but I want to see Trubitsky. Not in garbage time for handoffs and kneels. I want to see if (god forbid) he ever had to play in a playoff game…can we beat someone. I want to see if he could grind one out for us and if he had to throw, what’s he have. It’s not something I’d ever want, but it’s real life. Football is a very physical game. Do we have a backup QB that we can trust if we needed him to extend our season

You'll likely get your wish, however I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to the question.

I am absolutely comfortable with the final stat line for the game being:

                                  Carries              Yards              TDs

Frank Gore Jr.           32                     140                  2

You want one of those TDs to be a reception so that the Bills break the NFL record for most players with a receiving TD in one season.

The two RB's.  I don't see us paying Cook, and I think both our other RB's can be damn good.

I believe James Cook was named 2nd team Pro Bowl and IMO he deserved to be 1st Team. He finished behind Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, and Joe Mixon. No way he should be behind Mixon.

IMO Cook is an elite player and I hope you're wrong about him not getting paid by the Bills.

I know it sounds crazy, but I wouldn’t risk Ty Johnson either, guy has been a HUGE difference maker down the stretch, the O needs him.   Bring up Gore or just let Gilliam take carries, let Davis have the majority of snaps, he can do it all, hasn’t gotten a ton of action this year.

We need a lot on Defense, pass rusher, huge 1 tech and a WR at minimum in FA AMD pay others.  We have 2 damn good backs behind him, so we cam afford to tag him and let him go.

IMO the valuation of a RB who is a home run hitter is different than someone who's only a sledgehammer.

The Bills won't be messing with this oline in the summer. It has been the star of the team aside from Josh Allen in 2024 and all five guys are under contract for next season. They are running it back untouched IMO.

Is the thinking that both Edwards and the Bills are happy to have him play out 2025 on current deal, and then see where his market is in FA? This would keep Anderson in that 6th man/primary OG backup role for another season, provided the Bills tender him or extend him. He seems like a priority guy in the pipeline. Can't see Edwards getting paid when both OTs and the OC is paid, and the drafted RG is nearly up for re-signing.

Sierra, I am now worried he is not going to get the call up due to the numbers and the positions that they need to cover.

@machine gun kelly @NoHuddleKelly12  I know this is self serving, but I really think the NFL, for the sake of the health of their players, would change this policy for the last two weeks of the season.  Maybe not unlimited call ups, but you should be able to call up...let's say 5 players.

Honestly, it ends up being for the betterment of the league with respect to the health of some of its players and showcasing some of the younger ones.

Javon Solomon and Cole Bishop

Maybe they called up Shavers to replace Morrow

Shavers was already activated three times this year so they can only sign him to a 53 contract.  I doubt it.  I was hoping the Nick morrow spot would’ve gone to him, but it went to Mike white.

Baseball already lets teams expand their rosters up to 28 on 9/1 for the last month of the season.  In the NFL - after the Thanksgiving weekend games, expand the number (perhaps 4 or 5) of practice squad players that could be called up and allow 53 players to be active on Game Day.

I can’t disagree with any of your points, but just a small digression if I may…my single greatest frustration with the league heading into the end of the season (and frankly ever since the Bills began owning the East again), is that the league stole a bye from all but the 1 seed, which is ridiculous and took a system that was not broken, and devised a ham handed “fix” for it instead. And we’ve been on the short end ever since. Recall all of the injuries from the Steeler WC game last season that forced us into a situation of playing Mr. “RV” Klein against the Chefs? My prediction is that someday we will have an 18 game season, and a return of the 2 seed bye—but will that happen soon enough?

Please do a little research.
The top paid ILBs:

Roquan Smith 6'1" listed at 230

Let's start by you explaining why a guy who has played at a 231 frame would improve in any regard by bulking up 9 lbs?

Maybe a couple pounds.  Our own Terrel Bernard, listed at 224, talked about coming into the season at 227 and he would "see how he felt".

But 9 lbs is a huge body composition change for an elite athlete

I think there's an outdated vision of linebackers that's out of sync with the size/weight of today's top guys

Naw, I'll let you do the research. I don't need to drill down for facts, then explain something. Was a simple comment hoping we get more stout in the run game defense.
