I hope we don't see more of that experiment this week. He wasn't terrible, IMO-- seemed like he stayed with his man, step for step from what I saw. But, he's the best K/PR we've had since Hines, and Andre Roberts before that. It's a nice luxury to have a specialist like that. Keep him healthy! GO BILLS! would love to see Daquan Hardy elevated from the practice squad. He looked great as a KR/PR and backup corner in preseason. 4 3 Quote

The best the Bills have ever done is 13-3. I agree with you about coming out of this game with no injuries as that is the most important thing for the Bills. After that I would like to see a win and get to 14-3 and have 2024 Bills as the only Bills team to win 14 games in a year. Sweeping the division would be nice too. 6 Quote

Don't wanna give any other teams in the league a reason to sign him to their roster. Wanna keep him stashed on the PS until camp next year. Edited Thursday at 10:32 PM by Logic 1 1 Quote

Remember when they kept Beasley in an already won game against NE and he broke a bone in his damn leg? That was the year we made it to the AFC Championship game in Arrowhead and Josh had no one to throw to. Don't go chasing meaningless stats please. Agreed… there’s a balance but you have to give a few of the guys a series or 2 to hit certain milestones that likely lead to bonus $$. I would give Cook 2 series, max, to hit 1,000 yds and get a touchdown. Josh gets 1 series, max, handing it off to Cook. I’m sure there’s a few others. A few don’t even dress… Bernard, Benford, Rapp (just to protect our other players), Cooper, Shakir, Brown and Dawkins maybe. 1 1 Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted Thursday at 11:37 PM Posted Thursday at 11:37 PM (edited) Bills released Morrow. This has gotta be for Ngakoue right? Then id imagine Morrow to the ps for linebacker depth. Ps gets unlimited call ups in the postseason Edited Thursday at 11:37 PM by Kelly to Allen Quote

Doesn't make all that much sense to me, it's not as if they are going after a QB, they already have their guy in Maye (Who I believe is going to be a problem). They are most likely going to trade back and get more draft picks. They want Offensive tackles and WR's. Bills fans reasonably don't want to see the Patriots with a big windfall of draft picks to accelerate their team building as outlined below by @gjv: 2 hours ago, gjv said: Here's the haul teams with the number pick have recieved in recent years; 2023: The Chicago Bears traded the No. 1 overall pick to the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers gave up wide receiver D.J. Moore, a first-round pick (No. 9), and two second-round picks (No. 61 and No. 93)2. 2016: The Los Angeles Rams traded up to the No. 1 pick to select quarterback Jared Goff. They gave the Tennessee Titans a first-round pick (No. 15), two second-round picks (No. 43 and No. 45), and a third-round pick (No. 76)2. 2001: The Atlanta Falcons traded the No. 1 pick to the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers received the No. 5 pick, a third-round pick (No. 73), a second-round pick (No. 135), and wide receiver Tim Dwight2. These trades show that teams are willing to give up substantial draft capital to move up to the No. 1 pick, often aiming to secure a franchise-changing player. 20 minutes ago, Miyagi-Do Karate said: I think they released Morrow several weeks ago. Does the current version of Ngakoue offer more than say Kingsley Jonathan at this point? Possibly. I mean it's probably just a swap from the ps, like Hyde or maybe Cine because of his versatility. But if Ngakoue has anything, it's worth trying to look for that extra edge in the playoffs The 2021 rams pass rush won them the super bowl. Having Ngakoue opposite Von could allow you to match up Rousseau on the weakest link of an oline. Getting home with four could be paramount if we are up by ten or more in arrowhead with ten minutes left. That's the time where the pass rush has to end the game... But who knows Edited Friday at 01:06 AM by Kelly to Allen Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted Friday at 01:12 AM Posted Friday at 01:12 AM Having an emergency 3rd QB in the playoffs could be important. They are most likely going to trade back and get more draft picks. They want Offensive tackles and WR's. I did the math using both draft pick value charts. I will use the new Rich Hill trade value chart as my example since that is the new standard. IF the difference between winning and losing makes the NE Patriots go from the 1st to the 5th pick the hypothetical results are as follows: Going from the 1st to the 5th in EACH ROUND (Not just the 1st) equates to a Draft Value of 563 POINTS. If you take every pick in the 15th position from Round 1 through Round 7 (Miami's position) the total Draft Value is 540 POINTS. That is more than an entire team's draft, that is Picks 15, 47, 79, 116, 153, 191 and 231 in VALUE. It is a big deal. 1 3 Quote

McDermott engages in coach speak. That's not a big surprise. What he's saying is that given the restrictions they will impose on themselves both with personnel and play calling, they will still try and win. It's like saying you're going to try your best to win a game of one on one basketball with one hand tied behind your back. Quote
