Maybe because it is the holidays but only 3 pages so far?   Just shows how meaningless this game is for us.  First time in a long time I’m not concerned about a Bills game.

 

Would prefer a win obviously.  In 2019 the Bills laid an egg against the Jets.  I think it carried over to the Texans game.

Will be nice to have a stree free game to chill and watch. Because the 1st playoff game is going to be high anxiety.

He’s holding his cards close to the chest, and my guess is Bernard is fine. They’ve always been cautious with injuries, especially this season erring on the side of caution with January in mind. 

The defensive line is the biggest question mark IMO. For a lot of positions and players, a simple swap for a guy who plays 100% of snaps is a no-brainer (Ingram for Benford, Elam for Doulas) but the guys who split time are harder to shake out.

 

Guys like Cam Lewis, Alec Anderson, Reggie Gilliam, Dwayne Carter….theyre all going to need to play significant snaps. So I suppose McD and company are weighing the options…do you gas out a guy like Jordan Phillips at 70% or the snapst this week? Does Austin Johnson play his usual number? Do Ed and DQJones see any play to try and limit the wear and tear on some of the rotational guys. 
 

Javon Solomon can’t play every snap at both DEs, so how do they split those reps? 

 

Hopefully. Im just tired of going to the playoff games every season and our defense is depleted. Its not even very good at full strength this year.

Do we even want to win this game, and hand the #1 draft pick to the Patriots*? If the Pats* win this game, it could push them as far down as pick five, I think. Beating them with a bunch of second, and third stringers sounds fun, tho. I'm on the fence.

I agree.  
 

While it isn’t a given that they get screwed out of the player they want, it gives them far less in assets by taking the number 1 pick away - a pick they’d likely trade for a handful of assets that could be the 5th overall pick and a first in 2026.  
 

 

That said, this is a very possible outcome this week for the bottom 8 teams:

 

 

Philly resting starters vs the 3 win Giants.  Giants go to 4-13 bc Daboll doesn’t care about tanking.  
 

Houston is going to rest guys at the 3 win Titans.  Titans are home.  4-13
 

Chargers are going to beat Vegas - 4-13
 

Indy will beat Jacksonville - 4-13
 

Miami beats Jets - 4-13
 

Packers beat Bears - 4-13. 
 

Bills lose to the Pats bc Maye plays 4-13
 

Atlanta beats Panthers - 4-13.  
 

Ravens destroy the Browns.  The Browns finish 3-14 benching the “injured” Jameis pays off.  
 

The Browns are on the clock with the first pick.

Nahhhh F that.... let the patriots win so they fall from 1 to 5. That means so much more for the Bills going forward.

Just get out of the game with no injuries. 14-3 or 13-4 doesn't change the fact that the Bills are the #2 seed. It's all about the playoffs now starting with WC weekend.

I was re-watching the Jets game last night and was actually thinking how much more stressful its gonna be watching come playoff time
