Just a heads up they have Sunday ticket with red zone for 5 bucks. Not necessarily for the bills game but there's some other big games Sunday. I'm getting Carolina/Atlanta at 1pm.

NFW. My personally-identifiable information is worth at least $9.99.

If he dresses he will be an emergency QB as Allen is getting the start.

I would guess that they would dress Mike White.  If the intent is to start Josh Allen but then pull him quickly, they won't want to put Allen back in if Trubisky gets injured, so they need Plan C

I'm wondering about that.  Maybe they just go with Trubisky and if something bad happens they use their disaster QB.

Knox or someone else can take the snaps.  It might be better to use that slot for someone who plays the full game.

FWIW.

What kind of pre season cluster will this be? One team intentionally fumbles and the other team afraid to jump on it!?

OH! You mean like this??? 😂

Drake Maye is going to play along with the rest of their starters and Mayo "sounds" like he's playing to win.

Maye has a hand injury... how stupid can you be starting your future at QB in a meaningless game with a hurt throwing hand?

Ohh well!

I would LOVE for the Pats to be this stupid to lose the #1 pick in a meaningless win that has absolutely no carryover to next year.

IMO, the Bills should be happy to let them win that game, but I know they won't.

I mean talk about screwing yourselves over long term.

They don't need a QB so they would be getting a massive haul for the #1 pick most likely which could really accelerate their rebuild if picks were used smartly to add talent around Maye.

Giving this up for some meaningless win is one of the dumbest things of all time and is an example of why bad teams stay bad. And make no mistake, New England is a bad team now.

The question is, how many and which starters will be on the inactive list?

ALL of the depth players have to be active.

Once the coaches determine that, they can look at the remaining players and decide who best to elevate from the PS.

I think they can put 7 on the inactive list if they want to have 48 active on gameday - 5 rostered players inactive, plus 2 injured rostered players replaced by PS callups.

The problem is you have 48 active on gameday, and you have to have 11 players on an average [Off, Def, Teams] of 155 snaps in a game.

Your QB's don't normally play teams, and your kicker, punter and Snapper only play a few snaps a game, Bass averages 12, Ferguson and Martin about 9.

The 48 game day actives when you back out the Kicker, punter, and long snapper and the reserve qb, mean you have exactly 44 players to cover all the snaps.  Those 44 players each have to cover about 40 snaps a game.  There will be a very limited number of active players who see single digit snaps even in a "just give it to 'em game" like we have Sunday.

This is why when the Cheatriots hired Mayo as head coach, I was ECSTATIC... an uninspired defensive coaching hire tied to the Belichick coaching tree.

I am curious to see how they will manage the load of snaps for some of the rotational guys. I keep seeing/hearing fans say “rest all the starters” and that is just not practical. Someone has to take the snaps; and with less than 50

activea players, some of the key pieces are going to need to be involved.

We’ll be lucky to sit 8-10 at best.  Good point.  I didn’t want to say anything before and before anyone asks, you can only activate 2 in a given week for the PS.

Man this guy just can't stay healthy. I obviously don't care about this game but I hope he is ready for the playoffs.

This sounds like a bruise or muscle sprain to me, as McD said he could probably play through it if need be.

He’s holding his cards close to the chest, and my guess is Bernard is fine. They’ve always been cautious with injuries, especially this season erring on the side of caution with January in mind.

The defensive line is the biggest question mark IMO. For a lot of positions and players, a simple swap for a guy who plays 100% of snaps is a no-brainer (Ingram for Benford, Elam for Doulas) but the guys who split time are harder to shake out.

Guys like Cam Lewis, Alec Anderson, Reggie Gilliam, Dwayne Carter….theyre all going to need to play significant snaps. So I suppose McD and company are weighing the options…do you gas out a guy like Jordan Phillips at 70% or the snapst this week? Does Austin Johnson play his usual number? Do Ed and DQJones see any play to try and limit the wear and tear on some of the rotational guys.

Javon Solomon can’t play every snap at both DEs, so how do they split those reps?

Coming out of this game healthy is the goal.

That and possibly  improving our draft position in an otherwise meaningless game. I wouldnt mind a spot one or two higher with another loss.

This is good as I will be up and about on Saturday. Do you know if this requires a subscription to YouTube TV (which I don't have)?

If it's a clean $5 for a weekend of Sunday ticket, I am in
