Could have attended the game in person but didn't to watch game with girlfriend at a bar - Walked out of bar when things looked super bleak and IIRC, went back in to bar eventually to watch the comeback!

This should be the healthiest we’ve been going into the playoffs.  Hopefully it stays that way….   No more excuses.  Just get it done!

About as healthy as the Chiefs for a change.

Only thing is, I’d argue it benefits them even more because in the past couple weeks they get players back that missed all or most of the regular season (I.e. Hollywood Brown and Jaylen Watson).

And Hollywood is pretty much a bonus for them at this point. The narrative that the Chiefs don’t have a lot of talent at the WR position is overrated at this point, even without Rice.

I’m sure it’s been discussed in these ten pages, but if we beat NE, they get the #1 overall pick, correct?

As awful as they are now, they can be franchise changing. Even though this draft class isn’t setting the world on fire, they could trade that pick for a huge amount of draft capital.

They do.

We have no interest in winning this game. We have an interest in keeping NE as ***** as possible for as long as possible.

This is slow torture. I couldnt care less about this game, cmon playoffs.

I get it, but I also am interested in seeing what they young guys look like.  I think Buffalo Joe has > 10 tackles in this game.

She came with me back into the bar - We dated for many years but it didn't work out ultimately.  She was smart but I still tell the story of when she saw a sweatshirt and said "I-O-W-A" - what does that stand for?!  Southern blonde clearly not versed in all things Midwest . . .

She's not alone.

Plenty of people didn't know that the Kansas City Chiefs play in Missouri, not Kansas.

I’m going to try and say something that I have felt all year but has been super difficult to articulate.

All that matters is the Super Bowl. We All understand that…We want Josh to win the MVP but we really need to get one to the garage. It’s been 5-7 years of excellent football…history will only care if we get one. We aren’t getting any younger, the chiefs are ripe for the taking. It has to be now. We all get it.

Im in no rush to get there. The 1 thing I hate, Is sifting through, rush waiting for the playoffs. We haven’t ever won one but i guarantee the destination is the journey. I bet more than anything, (after we all sober up) We are going to remember the little times. The moments that led us to the promise land. Not the actual moment itself. I don’t want to wish time away. I want to appreciate each week for what it is. This game means nothing from a standings standpoint, but I’m looking forward to it. I don’t care who sits, I still want to win. I want another Sunday of our guys going out there and competing. Making us proud and I’m just enjoying every single step. I’m not in any rush to get to the end here. I want to take it all in. I want to smell the roses. I know what’s at stake. I know what we need to do for this to matter. But I also don’t want to wake up 1 day and think…I wish I had appreciated the ride more. It’s a super short season. This is a team that killed us for 20 years. And I want to embarrass them with our backups.  I know the game isn’t super meaningful but I’m excited.  I want to finish this thing off strong and I want the depth guys to have their day.

Tough spot for the Pats to be in. Definitely looking at that first draft pick, but having to say all the right things to not make it look obvious they are throwing the game.

They would have beaten the Bills a couple weeks ago if they hadn’t imploded with turnovers. Now, they are playing against Buffalo’s backups and will need to put the ball on the ground a few more times to get the loss they badly want.

Outside of the games today, and the Lions’ game Sunday, this game has some interesting aspects and I’m looking forward to how it plays out.

I’ll be happy with a Bills win and happy with a Pats win. Truly a win-win situation.

Who gets elevated?

Cine
Gore Jr
Gouriage

Clapp
Hardy

Hamler
Logue

Shavers and Virgil are both out of elevations

This may seem petty, since our offense exploded this season, but ever since we signed KJ Hamler, I was really excited for him to have a role in the Bills offense (or as a returner).  A few years ago, this kid was drafted in the same round as Keon Coleman.  He was an exciting, talented prospect compared to Hollywood Brown coming out of college, and his "problem" in the NFL was not performance related; it was the fact he has been extremely unlucky with injuries to start his career.

This year there have been no injuries to Hamler, but it seems his only opportunity came in the form of a snap in which he played out of position at RUNNING BACK due to an injury, and I'd argue that he delivered the most exciting play of the Bills pre-season in that moment:  a 20ish yard SPRINT to the end zone that came up just short.  Look, we knew he had 4.27 speed already, but I did not know he had that IMMEDIATE acceleration! That is a rare combo.

Obviously, it's not going to be in Buffalo, but I hope Hamler lands somewhere next season with an OC that is willing and able to carve out a role for him.

I understand Keon Coleman is a big play threat, and his 19+ YPC is very impressive (especially when you put it next to Xavier Worthy's 11 😆) but Hamler could have brought a different dimension to this offense.

In the off chance we elevate him for Sunday's game, I hope that we actually give the kid a chance to show out...

I have zero faith the people currently running the pats will make the best use of the #1 pick.

They are a mess and seemingly are bringing everyone back to try it again next year.

i want the bills to win.  The pats having the number 1 pick means nothing to me and the bills winning 14 games in a season is pretty great.
