100%.  I was an Edmunds hater, but the guy was available all the time, so sick of seeing Baylon Spector even active on game day.

Bernard played 17 of 17 games last year but missed the KC playoff game.  This year he is 13 of 17 since he will miss this week.  Assuming this is minor I think people are over reaction just a tad.  Sometimes the timing of injuries make them more impactful and that is just dumb luck.

On the first defensive series against Detroit, Bernard, Milano, and Dorian Williams were on the field on 2nd down. The play was a run to Montgomery that went for little gain. I think they didn't again on the 2nd defensive series. After that, injuries started piling up and so I don't think they went back to it. 

I think there is some interest in having Bernard, Milano, and Williams in against certain looks.

A lot less likely to get injured when you're the guy jumping on the pile at the end of the play.

Sounds like they are being overly cautious but with how guys are practicing for weeks and limited but yet don't play in games it wouldn't surprise me if he was out next week

oh it’s more than just Bernard, the continued drafting of guys who are “bulked up” to 225 for the combine to play LB is just not working in general.  Milano, Williams, Bernard, Spector all missed time this year.  I know they are fantastic athletes, but they also get crushed too often by linemen.

Milano just came back off injury, Williams had an elbow he’s dealing with, now this with Bernard.. 

 

Undersized LB’s getting pummeled game in/game out due to undersized DT’s seems to be a common culprit for the issues we’ve been facing.

So many are overreacting with this designation.  He’s going to back for the playoffs and if you watched the video McDermott stopped himself from saying he’d be available to play Sunday if they needed him.

haha, it was more about the part I bolded (didn’t seem in any pain and was joking around on the sidelines/in the locker room after the game/etc.)

 

I feel like you’d need a few hands to count the number of times that ended up being the players was out for at least a few weeks in the JA17 era so far (usually a key player, too).
