Terrel Bernard in question for the start of the Playoffs ???

This sounds more promising than how Thad Brown and Joe Buscaglia framed it, but still concerning that he’s in this position as we’re a week out from getting ready for our first playoff opponent.

Milano just came back off injury, Williams had an elbow he’s dealing with, now this with Bernard..

Undersized LB’s getting pummeled game in/game out due to undersized DT’s seems to be a common culprit for the issues we’ve been facing.

I'm thinking it's just an excuse to get Buffalo Joe some burn this week

It’s a quad injury per coach on his interview. Sounds pretty minor, and he said more day to day than week to week. Coach even said the only way TB would play this week ( in this meaningless game vs Pats) was if they had some major fallout at lb depth. The quad injury type also does not indicate an injury typical to being a whopping 10 lbs lighter than average lb size in the 2024 NFL.

Looks minor like a bad bruise/ contusion. I saw the post game pics and there was no ice or wrap on the leg. He was joking around with his teammates.

Looks like an excuse for rest/ precautionary and to get our two rookies some reps.

I'm excited to see Ulofoshio, he was a great athlete at Washington.

I'm going to buffalo wild wings to go watch our backups destroy the Patriots.

The Bills need to draft a bigger bodied LB period. The players they have are good but are too small and keep getting hurt. Just reference what happened vs KC in the playoffs last year snd this trend is continuing. Danny Stuntsman from Oklahoma would be perfect for them. I’m actually surprised that they do as well as they do vs the run. It’s going to be a big issue in the playoffs. Anyway just my opinion. Go Bills!!!!!

The problem isn't the LBs so much as the undersized DTs.  If those guys up front can't hold the point of attack,  the LBs arent going to make much difference.

I truly hope this is just coach speak and/or over-cautiousness, because if this continues.. a philosophy shift probably needs to occur with how we build this Defense.

You can’t extend this guy.

So freaking frustrating, and of course we don’t cross train at MLB so he’s our only viable starter.

He's fine dude relax lol. Thad Brown does this silly nonsense all the time with how he words things to get clicks.

He's literally a jets fan....

I never have much cared for the light in the ass LB's. From Alonso to Milano (though he is over 220) and Bernard who is barely over 220.

I want LB's 230-240 plus.

I’m done with this. He can rest for two weeks. That’s awesome actually. He’ll be ready and as healthy as we can hope for for the Divisional round. Shapes out to me.

Here we go with another McDermott can’t run his defense without Kuechly 😂

The prototype LB we need is Edmunds size with someone else's instincts.

Bernard was ok before the DL started underachieving.  We could use upgrades at many positions, but interior DL is the biggest issue.  Hopefully the Carter at 1T experiment will help in the playoffs.

He's got a week and a half to be ready. None of the key starters will play any sort of meaningful minutes this week. I think Bernard will be a go the 2nd weekend in January.

With Phillips, Jefferson, Johnson, Smoot, Toohill if you want him, all on expiring deals the entire defensive line is needing a rebuild.
