I'm pretty sure Virgil has been called up twice as well, in between his stint on the 53. Samuel has been out for a couple weeks now and appears ready to go. So i'd expect him to be taking most of the snaps to get him back. Hollins and Coleman (who's also just getting back in the swing of things as well after injuries) will also probably get a lot of play. White makes a lot of sense. But I think he's also been called up twice. So that might put us in a precarious situation where we have no choice but to put Allen back in if Trubisky gets hurt. That's not going to happen. I took a lot of flack for suggesting Hyde is likely to not see the field at all and was just brought on as a player coach and to possibly get a ring. As time has gone on, it really seems that's the case. Our Safety core has been decimated with both starters injured at the same time. Kareem Jackson and Lewis Cine were both called up twice since Hyde's been brought in. If there's a Safety injured in the Playoffs, I really think you'll see one of them come in. If you read between the lines of things both McDermott and Hyde have said, it really doesn't seem like playing him was ever in the cards. Agree...at this point Micah is nothing more than a glorified coach. Quote

Kind of puzzling they didn't save one for Week 18. But it's going to have to be Josh back in just handing the ball off or an emergency QB if Trubisky goes down. Anyone know who is the Bills' emergency quarterback? Quote

This was Shavers 3rd elevation as well and he reverted back to the practice squad on Monday...no waivers process required. 1 hour ago, BillsFanForever19 said: Mike White has also been elevated twice already as well (12/1 and 12/15). White is eligible for one more elevation and I would imagine he will back up Trubisky on Sunday Quote

Snappysnackcakes Posted Wednesday at 01:31 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:31 AM I hope they bring Hal Garner up. Helluva ST presence with some pass rush ability. And he knows how to party, which is always a bonus (if you win). Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted Wednesday at 02:05 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:05 AM Guys I wouldn’t risk injuring: Josh, all 3 RB’s, both tight ends, Cooper, Shakir, all 5 starting OL, Von, Groot, Oliver, Epenesa, Daquan, Milano, Bernard, Taron, both starting CB’s, Rapp, and maybe Lewis and Ingram. That leaves Trubisky, Gilliam, practice squad RB, Anderson, Van Pran, Vandemark, 2 practice squad OL, Hollins, Coleman, Shavers, Virgil, Morris, Davidson. Then Smoot, Carter, Jefferson, Solomon, 2 practice squad DL, buffalo joe, Dorian, Morrow, Ulofishio, Elam, Codrington, Ingram or Lewis, Bishop, practice squad DB. If you only get 3 call-ups, I’m doing them all on offense and playing both ingram and lewis and Phillips. Quote
The Jokeman Posted Wednesday at 02:18 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:18 AM At this point even a play is called a 3rd time I don't think it matters as regular season once end when games end so player can't be forced to active roster. 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted Wednesday at 03:03 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:03 AM I’d say White and Gore. Let those guys carry the load here. 17/4 are the two most important guys on the team. Better keep them clean. Let’s see what the PS guys have Quote

Yep, and with it being the last game, they can call anyone up. In the playoffs you get unlimited call ups for each player. So, if the Bills play 4 games, they can call a player up 4 times. Quote

CSBill Posted Wednesday at 04:17 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:17 AM According to Google Genius: In the NFL, a practice squad player can be elevated to the active roster a maximum of three times per season: Game day elevations Teams can elevate up to two practice squad players on game day to increase their roster to 55 players. Moving to the active roster After the third elevation, the player must be moved to the active roster to play in more games. 1 Quote
