It's possible.  I initially was thinking Rams/GB in that slot, but for travel reasons (winner of the 4/5 game is going no further west than Minneapolis, whereas a Rams win in 3/6 game gets them a cross-country trip to Philly) I think you might be right.

Amazon Prime Is doing an exclusively game only on Prime either day as well. I'm sure Al Michaels will be EXCITED

not terribly interested in major league single elimination tournaments, per se.   Kind of a bullsh-t TV-ratings advertising game to boost audiences.   the 5 month regular season is where the real work gets done, IMHO

 

 I see the "playoffs" as just an extension of the regular season.   go compete and do whatever it takes to win the game.   if you run out of games to win, yeah I guess they give you a trophy.  not a big deal.  

 

After so so many years of suck, I guess I am still wallowing in the post - drought "Process-driven" week after week after week success.    Go McBeanes.   Keep us winning 3-4 out of 5 games like you have for the past 5 years.  Lovin it

Tua is hurt. Hill and Wadle are hurt. They can’t win a game when it’s under 40 degrees let alone 20 degrees. The Bills should be hoping for a matchup as juicy as that.

Just looking at the current standings it’s quite possible that there’ll be three out of the six wildcard games in which the home team has a worse record than the visitors. The NFL might wanna do something about that going forward.

Yeah, guaranteeing a playoff berth for division winners I'd good, but I'm not sure they deserve a home game. I always think back to the famous "Beastquake" game where a New Orleans team that was like 11-5 had to go to Seattle, who was 7-9. The Seahawks had a big advantage with the crowd and weather, and they won -- didn't seem right.

I have always said this but people always told me I was crazy and would say "just win your division". Not every division is the same. Some are a lot weaker than the other. Look at the Vikings and Lions, one of them is going to have to go on the road to either the Buccaneers, Falcons or Rams. All of those teams will have 4 or 5 less wins than the Vikings or Lions. Yet they will be hosting because they "won their division". The Vikings and Lions are in a much better division, so it's unfair. One of them is gonna have to go on the road the whole way or at least 2 out of 3 with a 14-3 record. It's not right

Mainly because our opponent, Indy: a small-market team led by Philip Rivers that no one cared about. It didn't help Buffalo was also small-market and pretty new to the scene, just having won the division for the first time since 1996.
