I heard that on TV yesterday. They were discussing the game time slots and because we have some Saturday games with Balt, Pitt, Cincy... they will get the later games if possible. So we will be at 1:00

makes sense.  Would be good for me too, as I have to work on Saturday evening (would still be able to watch the majority of the game thankfully, but my attention would be divided)

Oh c'mon this is worse speculation than the guy who started the thread about how we're going to be getting cold weather for Wild Card weekend

I would have thought 8p on Saturday because Allen is a huge TV draw.  (And I thought through where other games would fall.)  That's why I posted it.  I was very surprised to hear of the 1p projection.

You know Houston is going 4p Saturday

Agreed.  And I had Tampa/Atlanta pegged for 1p Sunday.

Yeah I was just clowning around, not trying to give you a hard time.  I agree that I would have expected us to play on Saturday(probably afternoon though, not at night)

That makes sense to me. While this game has star power in Josh Allen, it doesn’t have many other “stories” (unless it’s the Bengals). The Broncos are just kind of there and the Bills/Dolphins “rivalry” doesn’t captivate the nation. I was hoping for Saturday afternoon instead, but Sunday at 1 works for me.

Historically a 4 v 5 game goes on MNF, to make rest of bracket easier to schedule in divisional round, so Tampa/Det or Min loser would go there

Agreed, makes a lot of sense. If it is Denver or Miami it won't be attractive for more prominent times, so it will be first game either on Saturday or on Sunday.

And Houston sucks no matter what so Sunday 1 pm it is!

Second hand, but from someone who would know (and obviously subject to change).  Plan on Sunday at 1p if it's not the Bengals.

Thanks. I’ll be in Hawaii so it’ll be breakfast with the Bills for me. I like it — doesn’t suck up a vacation day in paradise.

Jeez, I totally forgot that there are now MNF playoff games, which is profoundly stupid.

Typical Goodell move - no fans want it, it disrupts the competitive balance by making the winner play the next week with less rest, but at least it's good for ratings!

Allen is a huge draw, but the problem is the opponent: Denver (or maybe Miami). A blowout is not interesting football. Cincy, OTOH...

The guy who is flying in Sunday early afternoon is not going to be happy!
