In order for it to be Trubisky, it will have to be an HB option where they throw it back to him... or he throws it and gets it lateraled back him like Josh and Amari.  🤣

Good point. I brainfarted and just thought TD instead of receiving TD. My bad 😄

Is no one an option? I think the Bills just want to focus on staying healthy. I can't see Mitch doing anything fancy. Josh will try to get Cook a TD for OJ's record.

This question is tough because there are only 2 practice squad call ups and one might be Mike White.  So that leaves maybe 1 spot and it’s going to go to the player they want to get a look from - I think it might be Lewis Cine or one of Shavers/Hamler/Virgil.  I’m almost thinking if they go WR it’s going to be Shavers but we’ll see.

So if a WR isn’t called up that leaves the team with just 1 skill position that doesn’t have a TD - Reggie Gilliam.

So I do think there’s a chance we see a OL touchdown or maybe some Daboll kind of trick play where Trubisky goes out and catches a TD.

I remember Buffalo having a chance for the record in 2020 after the win in Denver.   IIRC they tried targeting Lee Smith in the endzone to set the record but came away unsuccessful.

Pretty sure he's out of regular season elevations at this point

I think you’re right.  He would be a great candidate to play in this game if he was available for a call up

Just to clarify, I believe both Davidson and Shavers are out of elevations until the playoffs.

Alec Anderson on the Tackle eligible.

Breaks the record and puts that play on film before the playoffs for something else for teams to think about when we get in short yardage situation.

This..

I loved him motioning on that 1 play

I like the Gilliam idea actually. Fake a screen out one side to Cook then dump off the other way to Reggie.

Cool!

Virgil.  First play of the game they throw a bomb.  70 yards and 14 seconds later Allens day is over.

Thanks for the faith in me

Gilliam. Bring back the Shake, Rattle, and Rolle play  from the 90s.

For the youngsters it was Kelly shaking it (faking it) to Thurman , having him rattle up the line and Butch Rolle go out for the pass.  When we were on the one or two yard line and they brought in Rolle, you knew for a fact they were running that play. I believe one year all of his catches were for TDs except one.

I thought Taiwan Jones dropped a TD.   I believe Smith already had one that year

Someone corrected me in another thread and it might have been singeltary but I also thought Jones had a drop on a play designed for him.  I’m too lazy to look it up
