Reggie Gilliam got a TD last time the Bills were one off from this record.

Maybe a WR off the practice squad while the starters rest?

It would be pretty cool if it could be Frank Gore Jr.

Also, an eligible lineman at the goal line is not out of the question.

What do you think?

Alec Anderson on the Tackle eligible.

Breaks the record and puts that play on film before the playoffs for something else for teams to think about when we get in short yardage situation.

It's going to be a back. Not sure Mitch can throw past the sticks.

Dion. He reported tackle eligible on last game.

Yeah he's already caught two and the career record for TD catches by an O Lineman is 4, held by among others Anthony Munoz.

Gilliam has had plenty of snaps.  Get him one.

Remember a few years ago they tried to tie or break this record and threw a pass to Taiwan Jones?  Hands of stone style drop IIRC.

Anderson has been eligible all season.  His time will come soon.  (Although they may be saving that play for the playoffs)

We've only got 2 Practice Squad Call-ups. I'm pretty sure James Cook will be active so that he can get his 19 yards to reach 1k rushing before being shut down. So Frank Gore being active isn't a given.

And when it comes to the PS WR's, Shavers has already got a TD and been called up twice. I'm pretty sure Virgil has been called up twice. So the only WR I think that can be called up that doesn't have a TD is KJ Hamler. Again, not a given he'll get a call up as we only have 2 and Samuel is probably going to get a lot of play as he's missed time.

So all that said, I think Gilliam or Trubisky on a goal line sneak are much more likely as we know both will definitely be active and will get a lot of play.

Anderson has shown up and played well all season.  Another lineman with a bit of an attitude.  Reward the guy and he’ll be in the record book for a while.

In order for it to be Trubisky, it will have to be an HB option where they throw it back to him... or he throws it and gets it lateraled back him like Josh and Amari.  🤣
