Since1981 Posted Wednesday at 02:43 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:43 AM Can they do one play O and D and forfeit? just need to give 3rd string preseason time. NE will intentionally give up. They have #1 draft. It’d be stupid to win. Quote
ghostwriter Posted Wednesday at 02:44 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:44 AM I want to see a dominant showing by our backups. 1 1 Quote

They're years away from competing with us anyway, so I don't personally care too much about their potential draft capital. Let's go into the postseason with the momentum of a division win. Always win. Make it part of your DNA. F the Pats, Phins, Jets. They deserve to lose every matchup as far as I’m concerned. Quote
Charles Romes Posted Wednesday at 09:23 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:23 AM If there ever a more obvious tanking since the suck for luck colts, it will be Sunday by the Pats. They will pull out all stops. This is an un-losable game for the Bills imo. Quote
Scott7975 Posted Wednesday at 10:27 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:27 AM I picked dont care just be healthy. I'd prefer a win though. 14 wins would be sweet. I dont care if the Pats get the first pick or not. They will have a high pick regardless. Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted Wednesday at 11:42 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:42 AM I voted don’t care and just be healthy. That’s my main concern. I almost lean toward “no” otherwise. If the Pats were locked into like the 3rd pick, I wouldn’t care. At 1 though, all that they need is one desperate team to make a Bryce Young type of trade and it jumpstarts their revival. I like Maye and think that they already have their QB. If they get a haul for that pick, they have a chance to be really good in a year or 2. I think that the rest of the division is heading backwards. I’d just assume as many more years as we can have, in Josh’s prime, where the division is complete trash. Quote
Steptide Posted Wednesday at 12:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:45 PM I'm always amazed at how much stock people put in the draft. During the drought years we always had high picks and it never made a difference. Now, some of our best talent is late round picks (Milano etc). The draft is a tool, but it's not the end all be all. Patriots having the number 1 pick isn't gonna turn them into a superbowl contender, at least not right away Quote

Patriots having the number 1 pick isn't gonna turn them into a superbowl contender, at least not right away There is a lot of data behind it though. You can go round by round and will find more starters, pro bowlers, all pros, etc.. are picked earlier. While there are guys like Milano and Taron, the data says you’re much more likely to add impact players earlier. If they get something like 2 number 1’s and 2 number 2’s to slide back a few spots, that’s bad for the Bills. If they start to add talent around Maye, they will quickly be the 2nd best team in the AFCE. I’d rather they don’t get the chance to start closing the gap that much. Let’s keep the whole division bad. Edited Wednesday at 02:51 PM by Kirby Jackson Quote
